Excellent lovely long cable just the job for securing 2 kayaks. Not going to stop a thief for ages but enough to put off the casual passer-by. used on the car as well once Kayaks are secured on roof pass the cable under the roof bars and through the kayak handles. Lovely. good price.

Perfect to secure my golf buggy

It feels sturdy and secure but it is not certified for securing high value items like bikes. Serious bike thieves would doubtless easily cut through it with bolt cutters. I will use it as a secondary cable to secure the back wheel of my bike to the frame in conjunction with a certified Gold standard lock to secure the frame to an immoveable object. Nuisance value to annoy a potential thief.

I bought the 5 metre version, and I’m using it to secure my row of 4 different wheelie bins to metal railings. There is plenty of length to loop all 4 together through the handles and the railings, with room to spare, which means that one good padlock is all I need. It uncoiled very easily - I was a bit concerned that it might be all curled up like one of those old telephone wires - a lot of bike locks are like that - but it wasn’t. No kinks/curls, very smooth, and very flexible. Easy to handle. Yes, I know that a pair of bolt croppers would make short work of it, BUT I wouldn’t expect anyone to take that much trouble to steal a wheelie bin. The cable is a deterrent - sending a clear message - these are NOT easy pickings. Go away. So to sum up, I’m happy with it, it’s a deterrent to the opportunist thief, and I’ve ordered another for the garden furniture.
