Easy to use
Sink been blocked for months now and have spent a fortune on liquid solutions without success. This done the job in minutes. Value for money easy to use although the metal rod doesn't fit down plug the plastic ones are great. To be fair though the metal rod will be usable if you screw your pipe off for deeper effect.

Managed to stop the draining issue on my shower
This product can be a little fiddly but it does work and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Only down side is that it arrived in a plastic bag so doesn’t have a box to store. Living in a house hold with women with long hair - this is a must for the shower.

Doesn't fit plughole and plastic teeth snapped easily
Yes it'a my mistake it didn't fit the plughole in my bath. The push grabber mechanism was extremely stiff and the grabber pretty pathetic like one of those arcade games.I was able to test it in my kitchen plug and despite only pushing the plastic rod with teeth only halfway down nearly all the teeth at the bottom snapped after one use. This is great for those newer plug holes that are open or with much wider holes but I wouldn't bother ordering it otherwise. Even if you did get it down it is a right pain to pull up again. No I didn't read all the comments before I purchased, my mistake! But a friend who has plug holes like mine really rated their drain snake for capturing long hair and recommended it. I guess she will be happy with the spares.

Does the job, but not easily.
The plastic hooks do the job so worth the money. But they’re a one use deal as the hooks bend back or break off after one use. You need some decent strength to use them and your drain cover needs to be robust to resist the force required. The silver “grabber” is superfluous as the head is too big to fit through drain covers.

It works!
I read other reviews before buying and at the low price thought I'd try it. I was shocked that it actually did work! It was a bit tricky to pull back out but with a little wriggling it came out with a ton of hair and gunk. I did it again on the opposite side of where I put it to make sure I got everything and the drain worked perfectly after that. As long as it fits down the little drain hole it will do its job - I gave one to my sister and it didn't fit in her bath tub drain. I would say this works better on the larger bath tub drain holes.

Not fit for purpose
I rarely write reviews but this felt like a necessary one. The plastic declogging strip things are WAY to broad. It barely passed through the holes in the drain and, when I tried to retract it, the barbs snagged on the plughole and the handle snapped off with little force. I managed to get the strip out of the drain by removing the plug hole, but then the drain came loose from the bath, making it very difficult to get back on. This means taking the plug hole off isn't a great solution.Likewise the clog remover tool is far too broad to fit down a standard plug hole. It is pretty well constructed and has quite a good grip, but I wasn't able to use it on the drains and even with the plughole off it wasn't able to grab any hair. It is perhaps better suited to larger, more solid clogs.Even with the plug hole off, the strips did very little. It did dislodge a little hair, but I had to lift it out of the drain with my finger as the barbs are too short to hold the hair tightly

Just amazing
I bought this after searching on YouTube how to unblock the bath drain from hair. Not going to lie, this was probably the grimmest experience of my life but WOW does this stuff work!! It pulled out ALL the hair that had blocked the drain, and I nearly fainted when I saw how much came out. The thorny bits do snap off so each one is single use, and be aware this will NOT work if you have a drain with the little round holes as it would be too big to go down, which is the only downside, but it worked a treat in ours which has big gaps. I would also recommend you wear a mask or a nose peg when doing the job as the stuff that comes out stinks like something I've never smelt on this earth. Also investing in a hair catcher.

Great snakes, but the grabber fell apart.
The plastic snakes are great, and have successfully cleared two partially blocked drains of hair and funk. As others have note, the snakes are too wide to get through some plug holes, so check before you buy. The metal grabber tool came apart the first time I used it and doesn’t seem to want to go back together. Even so, the set of snakes are still good value for money.
