Makita P-33788 Keyless Chuck & SDS-Plus Adapter

Over the years, I've bought a range of Makita kit to aid my DIY. After a long-standing (and very cheap!) drill adapter failed, I bought another cheap one which was a dismal failure. So - being sensible - I thought this Makita adapter would be worth the extra pennies and would last the course. That was my one mistake. With light intermittent usage it failed within a few months, losing its clasp just like all the photos people have uploaded with their reviews. I expected better for the money spent, so really can't recommend this adapter at all.

Don't bother with the cheap plastic adaptors, they simply are not up to the job. For very little extra you can have this very robust, and patented, adaptor from a branded manufacturer. It is not even double the price of the cheap copies but is ten times the quality. It's a no brainer! However, it is strictly for light usage. Prolonged SDS hammer action will cause it to over-heat and break.

Lo uso già da tempo e non mi ha dato mai problemi, robusto e ben fatto.

Très déçu par mon achat. Après montage soigneux, première utilisation : Le cache cerclé (droite sur la photo) ne tiens absolument pas. Pire, le bas mon foret à limer la tête de vis à l'intérieur. Le pas de vis de la tige s'est biaisé en plus de ça. Pour ceux qui me lise, portez votre choix sur un autre modèle.

This works perfectly for the job its designed to do. Quick attach/disconnect. You can feel the quaility in it and I think this is a pretty good valued product.
