The retractable cable is strong and long enough for me to use while opening doors. However, over time the plastic belt hook can break. I'm on my second pair of this product. If they sold the belt hook separately as a replacement part that would be awesome 😎.

This is a good tool, just poorly constructed. It feels pretty sturdy but it broke on the first day I used it. There is nothing securing the two halved together except for screw in the middle. As you can see the metal that connects the pieces via the screw is easily removed. I ran to a code and my keys went flying. Outside of its construction issuse it's pretty light weight and durable and the coil feels strong I'd rate this higher but the issue I encountered renders this item useless.

I love the design and functionality of the product. Its light weight, has a durable shell and the rope is strong too. It's easy to use and made of a hard plastic material. However with the design of it being on thr swivel it wears out, I had it attached to mu duty belt and within a few days of light use its stripped out. Overall i don't think value is worth the money put out on it.

Does it hold your keys or cards... Yes. Does it attach to a belt or molle set up...Yes Does it retract...Yes However, it fell apart after a few days of use. The plastic housing where the metal housing attaches to the the different setup quickly became rounded out and each time you would pull on the keys, the swivel part of the device fell off. Disappointed because the concept is cool....however, cheap build. Someone will imitate soon with better craftsman ship.
