HARISSA 70g TUBE FROM TUNISIA

This is the real deal and beats all the products you usually find in supermarkets masquerading as harissa. This is what you buy in Tunisia, and although it is not as good as home made, it is really good. Buy it. Add it to a liitle gravy or stock or even water to make a simple sauce for moistening couscous. This sauce can be added as required, to taste, so is best served on the side. I use harissa mainly to make couscous with lamb stew, a Tunisian staple.

Arrived and tried straight away. Reminded both my husband and I of Tunisia we both love this dip. The tubes are a little small and I do know it is cheep in Tunisia around 40 millims for a big tin.

I cant get this brand of harissa, the best, locally. The boxes were a bit bashed about but the contents were ok. No couscous is complete without harissa. Excellent
