BarCraft Ice Cube Tray, 14 Ice Cubes, Plastic, 26 x 12cm, White

This is the perfect ice-cube tray 🙂 Who would have thought such a thing was possible? I first came across it at a holiday cottage, and immediately wanted to experience no other tray 💕 The ice-cubes are big, and yet tumble out from it at the slightest twist. The tray edges are higher than the cubes, so you can over-fill by quite a bit and not flood your freezer. It just gets everything right 😀 I will order a spare one, so these will hopefully see me through for many years to come!

Is it nerdy to love an ice-tray? Probably, but understandable given the quality and design of these. These are the best ice-cube trays I've ever come across and and I'm so happy I found them. There are some things in life that are suited to being made from silicon: Tongs-Yes, Egg poachers-Yes, Breasts-debatable, Ice-cube trays-Definitely Not. If you have people around your house for drinks and they find your freezer laden with bright pink squidgy trays of ice-blocks in the shape of love-hearts, to which it takes 2-minutes of wrangling to extract a single piddly cube into their glass, they secretly think you're an idiot and you've failed as your duty as a host. If on the other hand you have these trays, which produce huge solid blocks which fall out of the tray at the merest suggestion that you need ice and are large enough to stay frozen for a lot longer, then you'll be a winner. Someone deserves a design award. They have a good sized lip all around the outer edge so that you don't spill water when placing them in the freezer. They stack well such that there is no contact between the tray on top and the water in the tray below. And as I mentioned, the cubes are a great larger than average size and fall out of the tray with only the slightest twist of the tray. The plastic is really thick and solid and I don't believe it will crack with use. All up, amazing, 5 stars, I'm ordering more.

These ice trays are baller. Stackable, spill protection, and very easy release. Don't be distracted by silicone. Silicone sucks. Strong, flexible, hard plastic is what ice lovers need. These trays deliver. Delighted.

This ice cube tray is the easiest I've ever used. Previous trays have to be held under the warm tap or twisted with super-human strength, or they break instantly. The silicone ones are also ridiculous. This is the best ice tray ever. Buy it Edit: I am absolutely baffled by the bad reviews of this ice cube tray. I hardly do reviews but this was so easy to use I thought I would. They cannot be talking about the same product. I have always struggled using ice trays due to disability and have even had minor injuries from trying to twist them and them breaking! This one is so easy. I've been using it daily since I got it and it's brilliant. The big cubes also last a long time in your drink. The fact I'm chuffed enough with this ice tray to not only review it, but to come back and edit it after reading the bad reviews says a lot. I realise you should probably read the bad reviews BEFORE you buy things but I just noticed it had bad reviews when mine was approved.

Nice big, chunky cubes. One per drink is sufficient.

These work really well one twist & the ice pops up

Entusiasta di una vaschetta per cubetti di ghiaccio… si può?! Ebbene, prima di questa ho acquistato vaschette di plastica e silicone, cubetti medio-piccoli, difficili da estrarre. Questa vaschetta invece è tutta in plastica, è semplicissimo rilasciare i cubetti (basta un po’ d’acqua tiepida nel dorso e un tentativo di torsione leggera) e questi sono anche belli grandi! Mi piace!

So viel besser als Silikon! Einmal drehen und alle Würfel sind locker. Sind auch schön große Eiswürfel.

Buena cubitera de plástico semirrígido que permite flexibilidad justa para poder sacar los cubitos con facilidad. De momento el tiempo que la tengo no se ha roto ni presenta ningún desperfecto como suelen ocurrir con este tipo de cubiteras con el uso. Otra particularidad que tiene es que tiene patas para que se puedan apilar unas encima de otras sin que lleguen a tocar la parte donde va el agua y así ahorra espacio y permite tener varias cubiteras apiladas.

After maybe a week of making ice cubes the trays already have cracked! And, yes, I bought it from Sweden.
