Best pencils led size is good and no mess of sharpening I always buy these for my children.

These pencils are fairly slim so may not be great for those with large hands but for the rest of us they are excellent value. I received 5 "Bic orange" with light blue clip and eraser holder, 4 yellow with "Bic orange" clip and eraser holder and 3 pink with light green clip and eraser holder pencils. Each contains 3 0.9mm leads which are approx. 9cm in length. You can access the leads by removing the eraser and it is possible to refill in the same manner. The lead is a smooth writing lead and is perfect for note taking - you may want a finer lead for accurate drawing but finer leads are more fragile and these 0.9mm leads withstand my heavy handed writing style and that of my students without snapping. These are bright, cheerful, light yet sturdy and the lead is excellent - and for the price they are brilliant and if one or two go walkabout.....it is not too big a deal. Happy to recommend and will buy again when they have all disappeared!

My kids instantly took to using these. No more messing about with pencil sharpeners. And different colours mean no fighting over who owns which pencil ! The 0.9mm lead is tough enough to withstand heavy pressing on the page yet fine enough to enable neat hand writing. The HB darkness of the lead is clearly legible. And they are not so expensive to replace should we get down to the last one. Would definitely buy again.

Great pencils. Leads are great for me. I use them for marking cuts on tiles/wood etc. The leads are not brittle so they last pretty well. The pencil is plastic so I'm sure they ll snap if sufficient force is applied to them. Such as kneeling on or heavy tools or may crush if in waist trouser pocket perhaps. However, at this price it doesn't really matter if you do break a few eventually.
