Metal Screw-In Dog Lead Stake

Second best thing I've ever bought for the pooch! (the first being a halti collar). Travelling to Ireland with family, I was acutely aware that the home in which we were staying didn't have secure boundaries or a gate - so I searched for a solution and this giant corkscrew was the answer. Brilliant bit of kit (I also purchased a non tangle 9m lead for it) that meant she could be left in the garden unattended with no worries. It even withstood the pull when a cat braved the garden. Couldn't recommend highly enough - it made my trip a hell of a lot more relaxing than it would have been otherwise.

Bought this for a holiday away with 2 dogs where there were no fences. Just works so well. Easy to screw into the ground we had. Simply it works.

No problems with this at all. Used when going camping to allow our dog to roam around camp, but not too far. It was tested when someone's poorly trained and ill-mannered mutt decided to be aggressive towards our 30kg Lab who ran away from it in fear, bless her. The stake held firm in the ground, although it bent slightly. It's still perfectly useable with the slight bend in the spiral, though. Recommended.

Amazing price, amazing product... Easy to screw into the ground and I use 5 of these to anchor a business gazebo down on fields overnight! Gives you that extra piece of mind that sometimes weights on legs don't offer. If the gazebo moves then there's gonna be a few large chunks of mud going with it! As far as holding a dog, I reckon a New Foundland would only just about rip this out of the ground but the screw would have to be not installed all the way.

There was a protector on the end. It screwed into the ground easy and unscrewed with no issue. The metal feels sturdy and doesn’t look like it will bend easy. The attachment for the dog lead is big enough for my purposes. I felt confident to leave the dogs outside whilst in the lodge. The dogs did not pull hard so I am unable to predict if it will budge for bigger dogs when screwed into the ground.

I bought this for my first camping trip with my puppy and it was very practical. We were able to place it in the ground easily and it kept my puppy out of harms way. Highly recommend for peace of mind.

It's nice thick steel,definitely not flimsy,and it gives good anchorage,it kept our beagle where he was supposed to be when we were camping,just use a shaft or someshing if the ground is hard. The only gripe, and it's only a small gripe is that we didn't receive the tether at the same time they were sent separately.Decent price, does what it does well. :-D
