Works well with the flow control cap
"What should other customers know?" -- Well I'd ignore any review where the reviewer doesn't understand that you need to use these with a flow-control cap or inverted.(There are two kinds of people who brew inverted: those who have had an accident and those who are yet to have an accident. I don't recommend brewing inverted.)That said, these are well-made for using with the Flow Control cap, and fit fine. I don't personally really like the coffee I get with that combination, and I think it's a bit too messy to clean up, so I've gone back to paper filters. But it's a personal choice: if you think you want to try metal-filtered Aeropress with an appropriate method, these are fine.

Unfit for purpose
Quite simply, item does not work as required. Unlike paper filters, it allows water to run straight through into the cup as soon as it is poured into the Aeropress tank. No slow filtering takes place, and if you are not aware it has happened, your cup can overflow. Don't waste your money.

Needs a bit of care in use.
Does the job as far as removing the need for single-use paper filters goes, but brings with it other issues. Normally when using the Aeropress device, you pop a filter in, lob the ground coffee on top then pour in boiling water. The paper filter and coffee is sufficient to stop the water draining straight through. However, this metal filter, even though fairly fine, is still a lot more open than a paper filter so as soon as you pour the water in, it starts draining through very quickly. The only "official" way to stop this happening is to very quickly insert the plunger, then pull it up a smidge so as to stop the flow. This sort-of works, but you have to hurry as it only takes a few seconds for the water to drain through. The "unofficial" (and definitely not recommended by Aeropress) solution is to assemble the thing upside down - ie stand the inverted plunger on the table, pop the body of the Aeropress device down onto it, put the coffee and hot water in, then assemble the filter and end cap on top of it before deftly turning the whole assembly right-side up while holding your coffee mug over the filter end to catch the run-off. The possibilities for spillage and/or scalding yourself are endless. While it does what it is supposed to do, I think this metal filter is very expensive and quite possibly a bit risky to use. I can't really recommend it.

Does not work!
Useless waste of money - water just pours straight through… just stick to paper! Really wanted a sustainable travel option - and paid extra to get AeroPress brand - very disappointed.

Reusable filter
Great idea, a reusable filter. Brought as part of a gift so they will see which is best, this filter or the paper ones. But the idea is good.
