Excellent Zigbee Coordinator
It can be powered via PoE or USB. Can connect to Wifi as well. It has it own's web page where you can configure all it's settings. the LEDs can be turned off (very important feature, thanks devs!)It is automatically detected by Home Assistant and setup is a breeze. It is stable, has not dropped any connections or thrown any errors. Signal seems to be strong and I was able to reach all devices in a large 3 bedroom house with just one coordinator.Highly recommend this!

No issues at all
I just plugged this into my PoE switch, got the IP address from my switch, went to the web UI to make sure it was on, and added it to Home Assistant. Pretty easy and have had 0 issues using this with Zigbee2MQTT. The range seems really good so far too.

Outstanding with Home Assistant
This configurator is an easy setup in Home Assistant. Full directions are available online at the SMlight SLZB-06 webpage. There are numerous YouTube setup directions too. Zigbee2MQTT is recommended but will work fine with ZHA if you don't want to mess with the MQTT setup. The dongle plays nicely along side whatever Zigbee configurator is presently used so it can be test driven without bothering the present configuration. I have not tried Thread/Matter configuration.

So much easier than my previous USB setup
Sometimes a product comes along that makes life much easier. This is one of them.I run Home Assistant via a virtual machine running on a Synology NAS.A Sonoff USB dongle connected to the NAS was my Zigbee coordinator.Once I had the Sonoff up and running, I was able to forget about it, because it just worked. The problems started whenever I had to unplug it from the NAS. Inevitably, the USB connectionwas forgotten by the Synology software and I had to remember how to turn it back on again, orthe USB drivers failed. When the drivers failed I was forced to SSH into the NAS and use command line entries to download, and hopefully install, the correct USB drivers. Because this only happened everycouple of years, it was always a challenge to remember how to fix the issue.I have the SMLIGHT connected directly into one of my network switches, and it's powered via POE.There are no drivers to worry about and it has a very nice web interface that allows complete controlof the device. In my opinion, one of the best features of the SMLIGHT is its ability to spoof the MAC address ofthe Sonoff dongle. Once the MAC address of the Sonoff was entered into the web interface of the SMLIGHT and it was rebooted, all of my devices just assumed that the SMLIGHT was the Sonoff, soI didn't have to repair any of them. Easy-peasy.The Sonoff was/is a nice piece of tech., but the SMLIGHT takes things to another level.

ZigBee is Great, UI is Nearly There
Software is a little "quirky", but the ZigBee functionality is great and integrates well in Home Assistant! I seem to always have issues on the Security page, where things like input fields are requiring values when the feature is disabled, enabling certain features appear to remain disabled when they're not, and setting web UI password breaks minor integration on Home Assistant. Seems significant, but it's not that bad, and the core ZigBee functionality runs perfectly, so it's still well worth it.

Works great with Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT
Too bad Home Assistant (HA) is such a PITA, lol. THIS product works great, but I am dumping HA in favor of Homey because several hours to configure light switches under HA only to still have the colors on my Hue bulb look like junk is just too much.HA is not worth it. If you disagree about HA being worth it, then buy this Zigbee adapter because it's A+ and it does work very well with HA.

Does not work
Cannot save parameters for static addressing. Many other features just cant be updated. Worthless.

Bought for my Zigbee 3.0 light controller, but it does so much more.
Using the POE connection. Plug and play. Picked up right away by home assistant. Instantly connected to the zigbee3.0 light controller. Has its on web interface. Easy to use, easy to install.
