Did the job, and a brand I can trust
I bought these for 2 back to back long haul flights to Japan with a total travel time of 36hrs each way. I was worried about the long flights and swelling and pain in my legs (which I normally get from flying shorter 3hr flights!) but I found these to be excellent! My feet were a little puffy when I arrived in Japan, but the heat on the plane and when landing in the country was very very warm, so I put it down to the heat. My ankles didn’t swell and my calf’s weren’t achy. By the next morning my legs and feet were normal. For the travel home I wore sliders on the plane instead of my trainers so my feet were cooler, and my feet didn’t swell at all on the return journey. For this reason I think these compression socks definitely worked! They fit really well, weren’t too tight, had a nice stretch, and had a comfortable light compression that was barely noticeable after a couple of hours (and I have large calves). Overall I think these are great quality and value for money, and I will definitely buy again!

Perfect!
Recently wore these on a flight to New York from London (8 hours) and return flight from Los Angeles (10 hours). They are comfortable to wear, size was good and true, they are breathable and well made. They found them tight enough and after washing they have retained their shape and tightness. Highe recommended them!

compression socks
Very fine, like 15 denier stockings, comfortable, machine washable, but are still strong enough for the job, but be careful they will snag if you catch on anything rough

The Real Deal 5/5. toeless design .must have for working class people. lyrca blend is smooth.
a little compression over an extended time is far better then buying a high compression sock and wearing it for an hour and then feeling suffocated. this is toe less design. yes the toes in this sock are covered however the sock itself is toe less design meaning your toes are free to move. the larger front half of the sock is some sort of microfibre loose cloth and there is no elastic stuff there so its free movement in toes. this makes this sock very comfortable. if you can afford this then its better then any other in the market. the magic ingredient in this compression socks is lycra which is a silky smooth material and really flexible so there isn't much effort in getting it on or off your feet. the sizing is spot on so buy the version which matches with your shoe sizes as written on box it is highly effective as I didnt feel it on my feet for over 6hrs while driving to another city. and feet were same as in normal socks. I tried high cotton content and they were either too compressing or hard to get on and off feet. so high cotton isn't always an indicator to quality. the toe area is not compressed. it has some faux suede cloth so very nice there the compression is ok. not too much and just enough to be there but not make you feel that you need to get out of your shoes. so its relaxing once you are home and get them off now the bad parts of this deal. there is an expiry date on the socks box . so yes these things expire . its not only this one but all compression socks expire and well this company has been honest and upfront about it , the rest are simply lying about their quality. these socks will last for up to 30 washes and then reduce in their effectiveness. its not like they will dissolve after 30 washes or completely become useless. they will reduce in effectiveness by maybe 10 or 20 % which is also good honest marketing by only this company presently on these type of stuff. the rest simply forgot to mention this point or they have no research on their own product so they dont write about it either. you should estimate to buy a pair of these every quarter and £15 is good value for money especially if you are a working class person. doesn't matter if you stand or sit or walk all day on your feet you must have these on your feet. are these good for hot or humid environments . well I dont know however my experience is they shouldn't be an issue in those environments. are these going to be good against Cold . well they are sort of transparent and they end below your knee. so no cold protection as such . would I buy they . yes I just bought 3 pairs . they are soo good. would I buy another brand. not soon unless that brand has lyrca in the blend. Lycra is that magic thing inside fabric that has made Lulu lemon a multi billion dollar company and no amount of elastic or cotton or polyester can ever compete with lycra. if its in your cloths then you can rest assured that that fabric is going to be fantastic.

Very effective
These are great, I got the flesh coloured ones and they looked quite nice! Much more comfortable than others I’ve tried and my legs did not ache on the whole 10 hour flight plus my feet did not swell.

Not as good as previous ones from same brand
Not as good as the previous Dr. Scholl's flight socks that I bought. My ankles swelled up (although I was on an 11 hr flight)
