The OLIGHT brand has some incredible products. This is one of them! I've had this for a year now and its served me very well. Not only is it super practical with a small formfactor and mighty power but its also a great defence weapon. Being metal the torch is very solid, plus the three shallow prongs on the bottom would make for quite the bad day if someone got hit by it. When I'm walking in the winter mornings and its super dark I have a little more confidence which is just what you need in the UK nowadays. The torch itself is super powerful and lasts well as far as the battery goes. I've set it up so I have half press on the back button to be full 2300 lumens and full press is strobe so its disorientating if I needed it. You can see the confidence I have in the UK! :D Its got a fantastic feature where the start up is moon light, so if you just need a little light, for looking at maps etc, its nice and easy should that be your thing. Also when the torch is on and you need to look at something close, it auto dims so it doesn't wash out the page with the brightness, how clever is that! Would 100% buy another torch from them again, if and when I have the need to.

The brightness is what makes it unique. Although, I was expecting more from the beam. Though, reading the distance of the beam, this flashlight does what it is meant to do. The accuracy of it's description is really spot-on. Quality wise, it rocks! However, I am a bit dissapointed by the back magnet feat the weight of the flashlight. I would like it to hold better when placed horrizontally. Yet, can not fault it. It is a sturdy beast. Olight makes the best quality flashlights I know of. Happy customer and will deffinately buy again.

Great torch....way better and easier to use than the Warrior X 4 which is impossible to work out how to use it....and has no side switch. Good as tactical torch...has a lockout which is simple to apply and take off and simple step ups in power....with full turbo a simple press on the rear switch.

Awesome bit of kit, great build quality! Well presented in the box, pretty much suited to any situation you'd find yourself in, multiple lighting modes and the fact you can change the function of the rear button is a nice touch too! I would highly recommend, the versatility of this light is incredible!

This is a very tough, well-made and solid torch, and very bright to boot! I can't verify whether the claims for the exact level of brightness are correct, but it's certainly bright. The video shows me in the garden at dusk (not night) cycling through the first three levels of brightness (achieved by turning the torch on then holding down the 'on' button). There is a fourth level - also shown in the video - accessed by a double-click of the button which is VERY bright. You can also use the large button on the base to turn on and off, or push-for-on depending how you've set the torch up - you'll need to read the instructions as, although it's not too complex to do, it's not that intuitive first time. There is also a very neat small row of display LEDs around the on/off button on the side of the torch that display the battery level (on the right) and the current brightness (on the left). The torch also has a proximity sensor on the front next to the light 'window' that turns the brightness down as you get close to a surface, presumably to prevent the light from scorching flammable surfaces. The torch comes with a well-made holster/case with a belt loop / stud-fastened loop, and there's a two-sided clip on the side of the torch itself, i.e. the torch can be clipped into a pocket either way up. It's charged with a magnetic charging cable (needs a USB charger / port) - I presume this is to ensure there are no areas for dirt/water to get into the torch, although I've not spotted anything that give the torch an IP rating. However, it does mean that if the charging cable breaks, you'll need to remove the Li-ion battery (easy enough to do - it's a 18650 size) and charge it in a suitable Li-ion battery charger if you have one. All in all a fantastically bright, well-made and tough-looking torch, but it isn't cheap (hence the 4 stars, rather than 5).
