Ditch your horrible cricut immediately.
I have been selling print then cut stickers for 6 years. I constantly had issues with my cricut - they push updates, things don’t work correctly for weeks. It’s such a frustrating hassle. I tried a silhouette and I did not like the software at all and ended up returning it.I stumbled upon this glorious machine by accident (I didn’t even realize it existed). It is amazing. I can’t believe they sell a cricut maker for the same price as this machine. The Juliet is an absolute beast. I got it yesterday and I’ve already cut 7 sheets of stickers with zero issues. I did have to watch some YouTube videos because it does not work exactly like you’d expect coming from cricut.I only use print then cut, but I want to give some tips for that (definitely go watch some YouTube videos of the red haired lady - she knows what’s up).1. You can download and play with the Leonardo application on your computer before buying the machine. You can fit so many more stickers within the sensor marks and organize them however you want. At the time of writing this, there is no iPad app, but I hope to see one in the future and I’m sure it’s a popular request. Their program works on Windows or Mac.2. Make sure you watch a video on how to load the mat. You have to load it by pressing the black arm in the back up to release the rollers, putting the mat in lined up with the gray marker, and then pushing it down. There are arrows on the screen to roll it back. There is an arrow by the bottom left sensor mark, and the blade must sit above it for the camera to sense the mark. It is not like cricut where you load the mat and it figures that part out for you. It sounds more complicated than it is, but coming from cricut it might feel overly complex and you definitely need a video to instruct you properly.3. For print then cut with lamination sheets over printable sticker vinyl, I chose speed 10, force 38, 2 passes and it worked the very first time I tried. You’ll never go back. I hope they put cricut out of business because their brand now feels depressing and obsolete. Between them constantly pushing awful, broken updates and downgrading the quality of my prints to attempt to force me to upgrade, I am DONE with cricut.

My First Cutter and I Love It
I get into hobbies very frequently. This adventure was a more expensive one. I kept looking at cricuts and I had heard about them being finicky or hard to manage with tiny details/consistent cuts. So, I looked up competitors and once I figured Juliet out... this worked amazingly. I found a youtube video (not by siser) on how to set up. The hardest part was just figuring out which settings (cut, speed, passes, etc) to use. Some didn't cut deep enough or had the opposite issue. Once I had a test sheet that worked perfectly so I put in another ad then it cut all the way through. Why? No clue. The final attempt was perfect though. It's not something you can just turn on and figure out on your own, though. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy. It's large but not obscenely heavy. I like that it's relatively compact. I used it only for HTV at the moment, but I'll be very excited to use it for a lot of other projects. It's expensive compared to cricuts, yes-- but after hearing how frustrating cricuts are, I'd rather have spent extra than be constantly angry at it.

So many stickers 🤩
It isn't as easy to find the information you need as a beginner. But even so I am so glad I went with this machine over the Cricut. It is working beautifully even as I fumble my way through it. I've messed up maybe 2 sheets out of 50 so far. I'm very happy with it.

difficult to set cut depth.
I like it but find it difficult to set the proper cut depth without wasting materials to do a test cut each time.

Make sure to check if it turns on!
It does not turn on I followed the instructions carefully I went over it again and again and it will not turn on I threw away the package which is my fault should’ve checked if it turned on I didn’t get a warranty I want my money back or at least an exchange for a new one.
