No leak proof, but good cup
My daughter is 10 months old. We’ve dabbled with a couple of sippy cups but she didn’t quite get the hang of having to hold them up to drink, and other ones with draws have too much resistance and are a pain to clean. Decided to try this and it’s been a big hit. Perfect size for her little hands, she’s able to drink from the straw easily (though she dribbles) and it’s very durable and easy to clean. I only give water in this, because I learned very quickly that it’s not leak or spill proof, though after re-reading the description I don’t think it claims to be leak proof. Overall I do like this cup.

Fast flow for young babies, but great for smoothies
This makes a wonderful smoothie cup. It is quite fast flow for a younger baby (6mo - 12 mo) for water, but it makes a perfect smoothie cup for that age. Our 14 month old loves it and has been eating smoothies out of it for 6 months. The top has never popped off when dropped, but it does spill a bit out the top of the straw.

Great introductory cup
My favorite toddler/baby cup. We tried a lot of different types of cups and this has been his favorite since day one. We started using it at 6 months. Perfect for little hand easy to sip and holds just the right amount of liquid.

Great Training Cup, But Beware of Lingering Smells
The Olababy Silicone Training Cup with Straw has been a fantastic tool in helping my baby learn how to drink from a straw. Within just a few days of using it, my baby was confidently sipping water on their own – it really sped up the learning process! That said, there is one downside worth mentioning: after using it once for a smoothie, the cup retained the smell, even after running it through the dishwasher multiple times. We love the cup for water, but unfortunately, the smoothie scent lingers no matter how much we clean it. It's a bit of a bummer because we wanted it to be more versatile.Overall, I highly recommend it for water or other mild liquids, but I’d suggest avoiding anything with strong odors (like smoothies) if you're sensitive to lingering smells.

Pricey but worth it
Stands up well to the dishwasher, easy for kids to grab and hold, doesn’t tip. Fast to insert the straw, and doesn’t feel like a contraption, like a lot of toddler straw cups do.

Great starter cup!
My baby loves this cup! He’s been using it since he was 7m old and it’s small enough for his little hands to hold! I really like that you can take the lid off and use it as an open cup and it doesn’t have any ridges/threading or anything from where the lid screws on. My baby was having a hard time understanding how to use a straw, but I just had to put something very enticing in it and he learned immediately (for us that beverage was Pedialyte)

Subpar straw cup
Bought this cup to help my baby transition from a bottle to a straw. Overall, the cup was successful in making this transition. What I don’t like about the cup is how easy it leaks. The top has a very weak seal, and there are leaks or spills every time we use it.

our baby loves it
I really like this stuff. Our baby also really likes it and he was able to drink from a straw starting around six months. I like that this one is clear and I can see through it to see how much he has drank. He can definitely still throw it and I don’t really think that the suction works that well on the bottom, but I’m still really happy with this cup. It’s our favorite one and we’ve tried so far but I probably won’t buy another one though because it’s so expensive.
