Most well known of all the PUMA's shoes. Retro and always in style

the fit is perfect, lots of cushioning
In 1977 at the age of 14 I bought my first pair of blue suede pumas for $25, in 1977 $25 was a lot for a pair of sneaks and after many trips to the grocery store for my grandmothers I finally saved enough to purchase the sneakers. I was just as excited today as I was all those years ago when I proudly put my coins on the counter to pay for the hottest shoes in Brooklyn. My son teases me saying middle-aged people don't wear retro sneakers. I have a pair of Nike Cortez and a pair of Chucks, next on my list are the shell toe Adidas. Some folks complained about the size and comfort; the fit is perfect, lots of cushioning, they are comfortable and so cool; and they put a smile on my face- bringing back memories of growing up in the big city, I recommend Pumas to all those who wore the originals. Kudos to Amazon and the USPS for Sunday delivery, saved me a trip to the Post Office.

THIS SPECIFIC STYLE RUNS XL
This classic style with the GOLD logo runs an entire size too large. It took three tries, started with my usual 9, then tried 8.5, then finally 8 fit perfectly. With Shoebacca, your money is refunded when they receive the returned product and make sure that they are in the same condition as when they were purchased. So, you don't get your refund as soon as UPS scans your code, like in most Prime returns - at least in my experience. This confused me at first, so I contacted Shoebacca and they very quickly responded to explain their process. I think their policy is totally fair and the delivery of the sneakers was always prompt. I will def buy from them again as I'm happy to support them.

Great with after market insoles
I wear a 9 in sandals, solid 9.5 in closed toe dress shoes, 9 in Sperry and sometimes a 10 in sneakers. When I initially tried these on without socks I thought I should have ordered a 9. After walking around the house a bit, I thought the insole felt way too thin- like I could feel the pattern of the sole of the shoe. They are super- cute so I was not easily dissuaded.I went into my closet and got a pair of after market sport insoles and popped out the insoles that came in the shoes. Put on a pair of thin 'no show' liners and hooray!! They were perfect!! I wore them all day with no break in period and they were comfortable.....really cute with grey shorts, a mint green tank top and pink short sleeve knit jacket. So happy I tried the other insoles. These are a keeper!

My first pair of pumas.....
If you're looking for a shoe that will repair arches or keep your arches up this is not that shoe(unless you put some insoles in). This shoe however is comfy if you need to stand, great looking if you want a decent casual shoe, and keeps it shape very well. I bought these to add some variety to my casual shoes as I usually only have converse. Are they as versatile as converse? Sort of. Their suede design on the outside prevents me from wearing them in all sorts of applications, like when it's raining, however it's a cute shoe that I like the design and doesn't rub against my wee toesies.pros:Fast shippingDecent priceWell madeTwo different color laces come in the boxHolds up to casual and semi-casual attireCons:Some slipping in my heelCan be clunky if shoes aren't properly tiedTips:If you're like me and you wear socks without your shoes get some terrycloth insoles to stick into these. They'll protect the inside of the shoe from getting dirty and keep your feet from smelling and getting sweaty.

Favorite Every Day Sneakers
These are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn. They are a LITTLE wider than how my typical sneakers fit (Converse), but it's no issue for me. They are soft, well-padded on the inside for extra comfort, and somehow don't have smell issues even when I wear them a few days in a row. The only issue I have with the classic suede style is that the black color runs a little into the white swoosh design and ends up looking a little muddy.

Feela a little different than my original pair.
I bought these to replace the same exact pair that I had bought in a store and worn out after several years. They may be fakes but looking at them next to my old ones they are visually exactly the same including the stitching and puma branding all over the shoe. I'm giving these new ones the benefit of the doubt to see if breaking them in changes how they feel but they feel like they fit my foot differntly and the material doesn't feel as soft and natural. The heel in particular feels like a different shoe entirely but hopefully they'll feel better when broken in. If you aren't picky about brands they're great shoes but if you care about name brands you might want to proceed with caution.

Love these shoes....
I love these shoes! I purchased my first pair in this same color (Olympic Blue) back in 2014, and now this pair in 2021.I'm a man, but had trouble finding these in the men's department....so looking all the information over I could find, these are the exact same as the men's version...but marketed as a woman's shoe, and in women's sizes of course.I wear a size 8 in men's, and ordered these in women's size 9-1/2 and they fit perfectly!

I mostly wear them walking around campus to my classes and they've been totally comfortable thus far
GORGEOUS SHOES!! I purchased the "Holiday/White" color and they are very true to the online picture. I mostly wear them walking around campus to my classes and they've been totally comfortable thus far. I normally wear between an 8.5 and 9.5 depending on the brand and ordered this shoe in a 9, which is just a hair large for me, but not uncomfortable enough to exchange. I still need to do a suede treatment on them to ensure their longevity, but I really couldn't be happier with them so far. Note: the shoes come laced with the laces shown in the picture (same color as the shoe), but they also include a set of white laces, which is a nice touch.
