I admit I was sceptical at the likelihood of this brush set being of great quality, after a couple of recent dissapointments ordering brushes from Amazon. However, I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised: - The brushes are silky smooth, and as a result exert very little friction when applying product. Additionally, there is minimal product 'droppage' once applied to the brush. - I have been deliberately thorough and no-nonsense with my cleaning of the brushes, and they seem to have held up very well with very minimal shedding. I have some Lancome and MAC brushes and the Lamora brushes have an equal, if not superior texture. - The white brush tips make it easy to see if a brush is clean or dirty, and the bristles are not particularly densely packed into the handle. This suits my particular preference, as the bristles have more 'give' during application, and offer me greater control. - However, the brushes feel full and luxuriant and they are well stuck into the wooden handles (not even a hint of 'brush wiggle'!). - This brings me to perhaps my only criticism, being the overwhelming and headache inducing chemical smell that accompanies the brushes. This is not the smell of the bushes themselves, but of the glue used to manufacture the (otherwise very smart looking) cardboard storage box. This will break down when exposed to sunlight over the course of a few hours, but those who are sensitive to aerosol/petroleum/chemical odours may wish to bear this in mind. Overall I am very pleased, and so impressed that I have ordered myself another set of Lamora brushes to add to my kit. Although the longevity of these brushes remains to be established, for the foreseeable future I fully expect this item to take it's place as a 'daily use' item in my kit - and all for the price of one MAC brush!

Have always had friends going on about how to apply foundation with brushes, but was quite happy just using my fingers! That is until I decided to get a treat for myself and bought these brushes. They are really good. 1) I now use just 1 squirt of my liquid foundation (instead of 2-3), and a few dabs later with the angled kabuki I get a seriously flawless finish. 2) No streaks, and even, natural looking finish. 3) The brushes are soft, although I know some makes are softer. 4) These do a really good job, because they don't seem to absorb any makeup into the bristles, so non-porous as in description. 5) Colour is a nice coral pink - Not like 7 year old cousin's Barbie pink toys- Eeugh! 6) Good price for 10 brushes. 7)The brushes are quite full, so making it easy to get face done quickly. Haven't tried any of the smaller brushes yet, but they look just as good for use on eyes. WISH: Only reason why I haven't given a 5 is because I needed to air the set as they arrived very smelly, and then had to wash them too.

I've bought these brushes twice, and they're lovely brushes. I've had my second set two months so far and the brushes bristles have all started falling out. Not sure how, I don't use them every day, I look after them and I've never had this problem with brushes before.
