Top-Quality, Durable, Does Not Disappoint! Great Summer Fun For The Whole Family!
I waited to review this, as I wanted to get a couple of seasons out of it and give a fair opinion. First of all, I have to say that it absolutely did not disappoint in terms of strength and quality - it is still as strong and durable as the day we bought it (we have had two seasons from it so far). I decided to purchase the Intex branded pool, as we had heard from friends that the cheaper brands just did not match up to this quality and durability-wise - I have to agree on this one! The pool comes with everything you need (pool, filter, pump, inlet and outlet hoses, fixtures and fittings, etc.) except for the pump to inflate the top ring. The electric pump can be purchased for a small price, and is well worth it. Set-up was fast and very simple! I managed to set it up alone one morning, and it took about six hours to fill (with good water pressure). I would recommend that if you do purchase this, you also purchase the easy set swimming pool cover to keep out debris (and warmth in until you are ready to use it for the day) and a groundsheet to go under the pool before you set it up, as this will help to protect the base. The filter is brilliant and very easy to connect and use, however, you do need to swish the water and bits that sink around a bit to get them up as the inlet and outlet tubes are connected quite high up. We just used a soft, clean nylon brush for this and a small long-handled fishing net to scoop bits out. I recommend that you also purchase a couple of additional pool filter liners (which are also very reasonably-priced), as you will need this throughout the season. We did choose to chlorinate our pool water, as it will last longer and not stagnate very quickly! This year, we have also purchased the Intex pool maintenance kit, and I have to say that this has been a great help when it comes to cleaning the pool. The only thing I wish is that the pool was a little deeper, but it's just right for cooling off and relaxing on a hot day! You can't really swim in it if you're almost 6-feet tall, obviously. However, it is fantastic for the kids. My son loves swimming laps around it and having mini pool-parties with his friends during the summer! When the season is done, it is extremely easy to drain via the drainage plug - there is an attachment that comes with the pool to fit to the plug, which then fits onto your hose, so that you can just drain it out to wherever you want without completely flooding the place. I found this to be an extremely useful feature! It's very easy to deflate and clean down once drained - just make sure that it is completely dry before you fold it up ready to go away until the next pool season (you don't want a pool full of mildew!) You will probably need another pair of hands when it comes to folding it up ready to put away, but I had my partner help me with this and it was a breeze! I cannot praise this product more, and I certainly cannot wait for next summer when we can have many more hours of fun enjoying this top-quality product!

Super summer time ☀️
Brilliant pool and durable and well sized. You think you need bigger but you really don’t. Always buy one of these for the summer and they always do the job so well. Very pleased with this product.

SENSATIONAL FUN.
I'm not sure "EASY SET" is entirely accurate. Our first attempt to put it up ended looking like a sad looking piece of bubblegum with about 6 inches of water in it. However we realised that was because we hadn't followed the instructions to the letter. You do need an almost entirely flat surface (we've put it on a flat piece of grass and it's fine) and a thick groundsheet underneath helps. You then need to make sure it's an almost perfect circle, with all the sides equal all round. Once you've done that it's completely easy to fill and then you are about to have the most FANTASTIC FUN! We've managed to fill it to a depth of about 36 inches or so and it's like a swimming pool. Our 8-year-old and 4-year-old are in it EVERY day and have the most fun. It easily takes 2 adults and 2 children and you could have twice that if you wanted. For the money this is exceptional value – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

we're going to need a bigger boat...
I naively thought this was a big kids (or indeed adults) paddling pool. I was wrong. This is a serious bit of kit. In the title where it says 10ft diameter dimensions, it literally does mean 10ft diameter. Of course I know what 10ft looks like, but here's a tip, IMAGINE in your head what 10ft looks like, then in reality add about 50%. You will probably come close to the actual size of this thing. You don't imagine it being as big as it is! It is huge. I am soooo glad I didn't go for a bigger one. So Step 1: Get over the shock of the size of it, it will be useful to get confirmation, counselling, in depth discussion and opinion from your neighbour, wife, postman, anybody willing to listen... Step 2: Preparation. Although it is sold as a simple concept 'easy set'- beware this is not an ankle deep splash pool. This a small swimming pool! You will need a level garden, you will need a huge amount of old carpet to put down on said garden to protect from punctures, before you then lay your pool on top, and you will need to say a loving farewell to the grass underneath - you wont be seeing that again - within 10 days of installing, the grass is already as dead as a dead thing. Step 3: Installation. It is recommended you buy an electrical pump. "Ha!" I thought. "I don't need an electrical pump." 100 exhausting puffs later with little to show for it and I had a rethink... actually not quite - luckily for me my free stand bicycle pump, if you unscrewed the end, fitted the nozzle perfectly (about 2.5 cm in diameter). It's only the upper ring around the top that need pumping up, I personally think that's a waste of money for a electric pump -just don't try to do it by lung power alone. Installation time could well be extended by several hours, and you could well collapse. Ok so we now have the top ring pumped upped and primed. I found the stopper needed a ring of masking tape around to be a perfect fit. Now for water - put about an inch in, and try to pull out any wrinkles you can. (harder than it looks). It would be helpful to get a second person here. Note the word 'person'. A 3 year old black labrador is next to useless. Install the pump - pretty easy to follow instructions and we are getting there. Now it is wrinkle free, and pump (still switched off) is attached, it starts to get simple. Turn on tap, put hose in pool and wait.... And wait.... And wait.... And wait.... It took the best part of 4-5 hours to fill up for us. That's about 1000 gallons. ( I dread to think of my next water bill!) Step : Playtime: Wait for the kids to come home from school! This IS for them - right? Smaller kids may need a step to get in to it as you aren't supposed to compress the sides at all. But it is big enough for a couple of adults & kids to have good fun in it. Suggestions for awesome games = pool wrestling; erm... wrestle your opponent to the floor in the pool darn it. Find the coin; pretty much as it sounds. Whirlpool. Try to get as much water spinning around as you can and then float back and go for a spin. Geddit? A spin? Or my personal favourite; send kids to bed on a hot summer's night, get cold beer, relax under water. For £50 it really is worth the money. However. £50 doesn't even to begin to cover what you need. Step 5: Maintenance. You will also need a cover to stop bugs n stuff getting in (actually some of the little ones still manage to get in): £10. you also need a pool cleaning kit compromising a net and suction device for the hose (to clean the top and bottom of pool respectively): £15. You will also need to find - from a pool shop - pool chemicals. Again here was me thinking that it was a simple case of a chlorine tablet now and again. Wrong! I had to buy chlorine powder (weekly), a chemical to raise the PH of water to optimum level for chlorine to work (weekly as necessary) a chemical to lower the PH of water (weekly as necessary), algae remover (fortnightly), a kind of flash out (cleans everything out) (monthly) + test strips: £30. Puncture repair kit... ooh! That one's free with it. Wahoo! Oh and don't forget to wash the filter in the pump out weekly! I'm sure it will need replacing once a season aswell. Plus whilst on the subject of money, god knows how much 1,000 gallons of water will cost. Also the electricity to run the pump for 4 hours a day over the summer (ok I don't run it for this long.. or every night. My bad, but it seems like overkill to me), the carpet - free from a friend throwing out or will you have to slip the carpet shop a tenner for some scraps? A pump of some sorts? £25-£40. Oh and don't forget a box or 2 of grass seed and compost to re-seed that lawn! A £50 pool fast becomes £150! But all in all, the kids love it, the adults love it, it's a talking point, and although a bit of an eyesore in the garden (but then again who wants to live in a show home / garden with no fun after all?!) it really is a great buy. Highly recommended.

Ok
Pool itself is great. The pump included stopped working within a few days so had to buy another one

Advice on how to maintain the water
I read lots of reviews before buying. I've had the pool for over two months now. At first I naively thought I would just need the filter (pump), a cover and a floaty chlorine dispenser. I watched lots of videos and couldn't find any which gave me the advice I needed to keep the water in good condition. After a week, as the weather turned colder I decided to just empty it. Since then I have invested in chlorine granules, ph increaser, ph minus, algecide (all four at the cost of £50 for 500g of each) and a skimmer (net). Ph + is sodium carbonate. Ph - is sodium bisulphate. For each you are advised to add 11g per 1000l (pre-dissolved in a litre of luke warm water) then run pump for 30 mins without covering pool. I've not yet used the algecide. The 10ft Intex Easyset is c.3600l. It took me about 6 hours to fill with good water pressure. Since putting it up for a second time, I've managed to maintain it really well and it's now been up for 4 weeks. I have bought a load of replacement filters but am still using the same one I put in four weeks ago. Once you are putting the right chemicals in the pool I've found it lasts so much better (than my first failed attempt). Here are my tips. The pool filter should always be blowing out bubbles, if this stops, just turn it off, lift the filter up higher than the pool (I use a tall chair), take the filter out, hose it down (back to white), put it back and the pump then works as good as new. When you first fill up the pool "shock it" using chlorine granules, 6 mg per 1000 litres to start. However the advice is to only dissolve 10mg per litre of luke warm water. The pool should then be left uncovered for an hour with the pump running. To maintain the water I've used a testing strip every 4 or 5 days. Initially I used just one tablet in the chlorine dispenser and found the water went cloudy and the floor become slippery. I balanced the ph to 7.2-7.6 as advised, re-shocked the pool with chlorine granules and now have 3 tablets in the dispenser. I've tested the water today and both chlorine and ph are perfect. The alkalinity is high, and I welcome any advice on this, but from what I can see, it's not a major issue for such a small pool. I have my filter on a timer (one hour on, 3 hours off). During the last few weeks, there was a time I opened it up to find patches of slime settled at the bottom. A pool vac would have been ideal for that, but I don't have one, but sorted with a mini chlorine shock and running the filter for the day. When the filter has any cloudiness to clear, I clean the filter twice a day. Currently I'm cleaning the pump filter every two days when the pool's not in use, daily when it is. I keep the cover on whenever it's not in use. The cover is pretty good at warming the pool up when the sun is out. Update: The pool has now been up for a further month. I am still using the same filter. I went away for a week so turned off the pump, topped up with 3 new chlorine tablets and the water was still clear blue when I returned.

Very good
Read the other reviews with details on set up such as Jeni's which really helped me. I got it ready today. Buy:- 1. A plug in pump for inflatables which will blow the top section up very quickly and is well worth buying. 2. A sheet to put it on so it is not directly on your grass. 3. A cover to stop leaves getting in and keep it warm - solar cover 4. Device to float your bromine or chlorine tablets in. 5. Bromine tablets I bought all that plus the pool and it has worked well. Pick a flat bit of grass, easier said than done for some of us. Make sure you sort out any folds on the floor of it before you start filling it up too much as it is impossible to remove them later. We were very keen to stop this but the bottom of ours has lots of bits that should have been flattened out in the plastic. It does not really matter. It took me about 1.5 hours to get it in situ, putting the pipes to the pump was a bit difficult as I had never used hose clips before and I had to look up videos on it and find some help in the house for ideas as to how to tighten them (you need a screw driver and to turn clockwise and keep turning to make it a tight connection. It hsa so far taken about 4.5 to 5 hours more to fill it and it is still not quite as full as it needs to be so it is good plan to start putting it up in the morning of the day before you tell the children it will be ready to use. it is not very clear on how often to put the chlorine tablets in (but not when people are in it) or how often to change the filter. It recommends two people to instal it but I was able to do it myself. I think it will be very good and cheaper than my sister's £40,000+ natural swimming pond which admittedly is gorgeous.

Had a hole in day one!
So disappointed! Ok to set up but had a hole a day later!!!! Also not sure about the effectiveness of the filter system. Difficult to change water and clean! Awful customer service! I was told to go and get a puncture repair kit and fix it although the product was faulty when it arrived!
