Recently purchased a Double locking trem system, and didn't want strings that go dull after a few practices since setting up a floating bridge is fairly time consuming.These strings go a long long way. The strings feel great and sound great and they hold the tune

I've been using these strings forever—I can't remember how long. To me, they are just the best. I play gigs once a week and play almost every day at home, and these last me almost a year. Granted, I rotate three guitars. I don't like overly bright strings, so they work for me. The tension is just perfect (on 25.5-scale guitars). They are smooth, consistent, and just sound so good to me. When I play a new guitar with D'addarios or Ernie Balls, they feel like low-quality wires. I also have Elixirs on my acoustics, and they are perfect as well, and they last at least a year for me.
