Coolibar UPF 50+ Women's Marina Sun Hat - Sun Protective

I live in Southern California and this hat has been everywhere with me. It's great for an overcast day, when it's boiling outside even stayed on my head while riding in a convertible across the state of South Dakota. I bought the white one, it lasted three years before I needed to buy another one because it lost its shape because I wore the heck out of it. Love, love, love this hat. I always put some sort of a flower over the logo to make it feminine and more fashionable.

As someone with fair skin and a famiy history of skin cancer, I try to have at least two of these hats (one in black, one in space dyed taupe) on hand at a given time. When they arrive undamaged and/or properly sewn, they are extremely nifty and I recommend them.So, why is my rating not higher?I've found that almost all of the black ones I've received to be in great shape, but the Space Dyed Taupe hats arrive irreparably creased, something I've only seen happen once with one of the black hats. Upon closer examination, the stitching of the lining and elastic inside the hat appear to be the cause. Perhaps the black and taupe hats are made in a different facility?So, if you buy one of these and receive a good one, you'll probably love it... but I recommend ordering from a shipper that does free returns, be prepared to have to do multiple exchanges before you get one that's in good shape, and don't try to get one less than two weeks before you need it for a trip.

Very, very nice hat. The brim is shorter than most sun hats, so you don't have too keep pushing the hat up to see.Even though the brim is short, it is just enough to protect your eyes and face. And the hat keeps your head cool, a well.Even on a very windy day, the hat stayed on; I guess it is the band inside the hat that does that trick.And very stylish too; I get a lot of compliments

Love the style but it's not as sun blocking as another Coolibar hat I use when hiking. I get a terrible rash on my face when exposed to the sun so I now wear hats while hiking. This hat helps but I only wear it for short periods.

I have a small head so the reviews saying this hat runs small is actually what swayed me in favor of this hat. It was even a bit too big for my head. I was told the hat looked very fashionable, kind of from another decade, classy fashionable.Overall, the hat provides good protection from the sun, looks stylish, what else should one expect of a hat?!?

I love this hat! I have been traveling a lot and this hat is one of my favorite companion...to the beach, wine country, desert, your name it! Not only fits well, I get lots of compliments. It can be packed easily without loosing its shape.

But it will not stay on in a breeze. I even put a tuck in the inner elastic, lifts right off if you look up when the wind is blowing.Good looking hat, works well in the sun, but needs to stay on my head; guess I'll add lanyard of some kind.

Simple hat, keeps the sun off, doesn't look stupid. Can't ask for more than that. It was snug, but not tight.
