these charcoal pencils were just what my grand daughter needed for her art class the quality and craftsmanship are superb ,i will be ordering more as the school year progresses,good packaging and fast shipper ,5 stars for this product and shipper .

They are great and an excellent price compared to most retail art stores.

I liked how dark this was. Just something is off about it like the way is smears and blends and the texture

Good charcoal not super soft which i personally like doesnt leave a bunch of lose charcoal when drawing easy to clean with a wet paint brush 10/10.

Not what I expected. I don't think these are actually made with charcoal. They sharpened but it wouldn't even rub onto the paper like a normal pencil. Very disappointed

Nice charcoal pencils. I'm able to get sharp detail lines as well as wider softer lines, pending how I sharpen it.Lines are smooth. I'm no artist, just having fun with them.

Might have been shipping and handling damage, or might just be a batch with bad binder. but i went through 2 pencils trying to get a tip. even a surgical scalpel could not remove wood gently enough to keep the charcoal core from breaking at the first slight jiggle. Sticking to stick charcoal for now, at least its predictable even if messy.

I like the pencils because I use them in puzzle books. I like the dark color. So they are just what I wanted!
