Easy to use and good value
Writes calligraphy really well with smooth ink flow. Build quality is fine, it's good value for money and very easy to use. It's best to use good paper; marker paper seems to be a good choice because the ink will bleed into other types that I've tried.

Amazed it’s still going, brilliant pen. A joy to use!
A friend recommended parallel pens to me. I’m an artist and usually use brands like Sakura, copic etc, fine liner pens. This parallel pen is a level up, the ink is beautifully bold, doesn’t bleed on my paper (it bleeds a bit on poor quality printer paper) . Very sharp lines. I love how fine the lines are if using the side of the nib. I’ve been using the one I bought pretty much non stop the last three weeks, the nib is still great. I’ve bought a few packs of replacement pilot cartridges. They run out quickly if you’re using a lot, but very economical. About £3 on Amazon. Big fan of this pen. The flow of ink is great, if the lines get less sharp it comes with a little plastic sheet to clean between the nib. Easy to change cartridges. Less versatile than standard fine liners, also smudges quite easily. So allow dry time. Performs just as well, if not better than higher end nib and ink calligraphy pens.

but it is a great starter pen to introduce yourself to calligraphy
It really can't be used for anyting other than calligraphy except if you use higlighter ink, but it is a great starter pen to introduce yourself to calligraphy!

Love it
Takes a bit of getting used to as an artist. I’m not doing calligraphy at all. Holds a lot of ink and is a really well made product. So far so good

Highly recommended
I bought this item after much internet searching finding it was the recommended item by many YouTube calligraphy tutors and on calligraphy websites, so I'm very surprised I'm only the second person to write a review! The pen is very easy to use if you read the excellent and detailed instructions included with it (which will also give you instructions for standard, italic and Gothic lettering, both upper and lower case). The pen can be used on its widest point for calligraphic writing, and on its narrowest, for standard thin ink pen writing. This is a wide pen, though they have wider on offer, I find the wideness looks best on really quite large lettering, if you're looking for something that looks good on a large handwriting sized letter, buy the size smaller. My only tip would be that unless you're going for an artistic bleed effect, try to avoid really porous paper (cheap white paper, watercolour/sketch book paper) as the lines can appear a bit fuzzy, for really crisp lines a high gsm white paper is best.

Excellent blade-pen
An excellent item. works as promised, and a lot better than some of the pens I have tried in the past. Free flowing ink, smooth lines all the joints screw together so it is quite sturdy although 'only' made of plastic. The steel blades make a good line, and throughput of ink is excellent - make sure you buy plenty of cartridges!
