Took me all of 2 minutes to install, and the quality of these macro pictures are epic - taken on my pixel 6a. Exactly what I wanted. Considering how much a decent macro lense will set you back for a DSLR this thing is a steal and will definitely be seeing lots of use this spring/summer. I'll probably be investing in their other lenses too and hope they fit this frame

It is a very good lens with good quality macro images. Fits well on my phone and is stable. The slight downside is that is very bulky and needs to be extremely close to the subject to achieve clarity and focus.

The lens is very good quality but the screw thread on the hole on the base is bigger than the screw thread on the lens. It won't screw in, it simply falls straight out. I gave it 3 stars because the quality of the lens is very professional, but obviously I can't use it because it won't hold in place on the phone clip. I am guessing the wrong clip was placed in the box and not checked.

Easily assembled but it most certainly is no good. Every photo has the assembly overriding the lens.Followed the instructions letter by letter but it really is RUBBISH,

I really like this, it only arrived today, but within minutes I was able to capture a few nice photos. For the record, I used this with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I have to confess that the last photo is a weed in my patio. Once the weather improves, it will be gone but in the meantime, it was a great 'guinea-pig' for the lens. The second is a daisy on my lawn, which again, once the weather improves will be mowed away. The third is a close-up of the beautiful Christmas Cactus my son gave me on Mothers Day, which I hope will last for years. I can't wait to try the lens on other things, but so far I love it!

Very easy to use with simple adjustment

This macro lens really does add a lot of functionality to your standard phone camera. We have all been in the situation, when we are trying to take an up close picture of something, and you just can't get the camera to focus on the object properly. This lens completely solves that problem. I can see myself using this lens if I need to take multiple up close pictures. However, to be honest, if I only need to take a single picture, it probably isn't worth my time to attach the lens to my phone, because it does take about two minutes to take it out of the case and install onto my phone. I will say that this lens does take beautiful pictures. While not professional quality, it is perfect for the average person. The carrying case is well built and well organized. This is a relatively expensive phone accessory, but if you are into photography, I am sure that you enjoy the flexibility that this lens will add to your phone's camera.

Okay, let's be totally blunt, this isn't going to replace a good mirrorless camera with a decent macro lens attached...but by the same score it's not going to cost you a four-figure sum. If you already have that kind of equipment you're not going to be interested by a rather clunky attachment to your iPhone. However, there are some suprisingly results on show here. Provided you can get everything set up correctly. I have an iPhone 14 Pro which is a great all-round phone with a very good camera on it. Not quite up to the specs of some camera phones or, clearly, a powerhouse digital camera. But, good nonetheless. I have in the past experimented with lenses that can be attached to the iPhone for telephoto and macro purposes, but nothing has ever made me want to use it again. Could the Apexel macro lens be different? You get a carry pouch which contains an adjustable adapter which clamps onto your phone, a solid feeling lens with a detachable filter, a lens cleaning cloth, a number of stick-on pads that attach to the adapter to stop it from rocking on your phone, and a little instruction book. It's a bit fiddly to fit the adapter and screw-on lens, but not insummountable. There's a bit of trial and error to align the macro lens with the lens on your camera, but it's not difficult. What is difficult, though, is positioning the phone/lens in a way that gets your subject in focus. My iPhone did want to keep jumping around on focus and zoom lengths, and quite regularly the screen would go black. I never quite figured out why that was doing it, but only did it on the tightest zoom length. Getting the camera to focus on the subject in a satisfactory way was very difficult. It just didn't really work in anything other than ideal lighting conditions. Also, as with any zoom or macro photography, small movements are greatly exacerbated so you'll get more misses than you will hits. Especially since many items that you wish to capture such as flowers and insects tend to move around, before you factor in your own movements. However, I was still quite impressed with some of the results I got. When everything came together and the stars aligned, I got a few decent shots. Were they good enough to warrant spending the £50 asking price at the time of testing? Not for me personally, no. But, I don't do very much macro photography. It's one of the few lenses I don't own on my DSLR. But, if that's the nature of photography you're into and don't have the full kit to do so then you might find this is the product for you.

It is a perfect lens to take pictures or videos of small items, like flowers, and insects. The optic quality is very high. The quality is good even at the side of the field of view.

Buen producto. Es para lo que es... fotografía de aproximación, por tanto, mejor colocar el móvil en trípode o gimbal para que quede todo enfocado. Lo normal en este tipo de lentes, parte central nítida, ligeros desenfoques cuando se aleja del centro, pero hace buenas fotos. Dependiendo del móvil, especialmente si tiene varias lentes, puede ser complicado pillarle la posición adecuada. Todo es probar. Probado en Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Hay que poner el modo foto en máxima calidad para que aparezca la imagen en el visor, de lo contrario se ve negro, probablemente por los modos de cámara de este dispositivo.

De lens zelf doet perfect wat ze beloven: Duidelijke macro foto's met mijn Samsung A52. De houder past zelfs met het hoesje aan mijn telefoon. De rits van het etui echter begaf het al bij de eerste keer openen. Ook de verzending van amazon in een gewone bruine enveloppe zorgde er voor dat de doos van het product al erg gedeukt was, gelukkig zit de etui rond de lens of ze had al kapot geweest door de verzending. Met een betere kwaliteit rits had dit een 5 sterren kunnen zijn.

Doet precies wat het moet doen, maar is redelijk zwaar en de camera stilhouden is niet zo eenvoudig
