Great Little Inexpensive Chronograph
For around 25 bucks this is a really neat little chrony that is very easy to operate and works great. I had originally bought if for my Byrna LE less lethal gun but it will not fit into this chrony. And I am afraid I would damage it. So, I elected to keep this as a backup to my Combro cb-625 that I have had for over 2 decades. It is very easy to damage that one and they don't offer them anymore or their parts. So, this will be my new go-to chrony from this point forward for my air rifles. Instructions are in English and are clear. I pressed the button 1 second to fire it up and then press it again when the FPS comes up and that's it. You are ready to shoot. A 3 second press to turn it off. In the picture you see it attached to my Diana Stormrider .22 shooting 18 grain AA pellets. Readings were in the same vicinity as my other chrony. I may end up also using this on my 22 rimfires but I don't think I will use it on my centerfire firearms. I think the blast might damage something. It is very light and mostly plastic but that's what makes it extremely light, and you don't even know it's on the end of the gun. This thing is 5 stars for what it is and what it does. I would buy another if something happened to this one.

Defective from the start
This item did not turn on and after a full night on the charger that did not change. Can't speak on the items abilities as I can't even turn it on. Long press, nothing... multiple presses, nothing...This unit apparently comes with an internal battery, but mine seems as if they forgot to add it.I know cronos cost a fair bit of money so some of us are on the hunt for a reliable device that does not cost a bunch, but stay away from this one.Just save up and get a name brand as these will continue to frustrate with their low quality manufacturing.

not bad to get a general idea of bullet speed
i bought this to see if i could use it to get speeds on my hand loads. I tested it on subsonic 45-70 hand loads out of a springfield 1884 with 30 inch barrel and subsonic 22lr cci standard velocity out of a winchester 69 with 25 inch barrel. first off its definitely not in feet per second, it flashes "FPS" on the screen but the case says on it "RANGE:1-2000 meters per second" and its definitely in mps, or at least the one i got is. its also not not super accurate, i got a variance of ab0ut 40mps ( roughly120fps") which i know cci standard velocity wouldnt be and my hand loads are no more than 5 100ths different. even using subsonics the button came off. so i could not give it 5 stars. this thing however i really enjoy. it did not give super accurte readings but i wanted it to give me an idea of what my handloads are doing in practice vs what the charts are telling me they are doing, with a rough idea of what is happening its more confirming my math and for 24$ im very happy with that. i dont know that i would try to use it for full power ammo, i mean if the button came off with subsonics i cant imagine more energy coming out will be handled well. for me its a great little tool.

Just what I wanted.
Nice inexpensive chrony for pellet guns. I just wanted to get an idea of the FPS of various pellets in various pellet guns without spending a fortune; this has satisfied that want. As others have said, the instructions aren't the greatest. but they suffice. As it's going through it's startup cycle just remember to double click the button as soon as you see "FPS", then all the readings will be in FPS. It will figure muzzle energy but all I wanted was the FPS. It's probably easier to use the ballistic calculator at Pyramydair.com if you want the related muzzle energy.

Questionable accuracy
Instructions are hard to understand. Had to watch a few videos on YouTube to get some ideas on how to get it to work. Ultimately just tried pushing the buttons a few different sequences to get it to display in fps and get it to display my results long enough to read them before being cleared from the screen. I tested it against a $200 chronograph, and this one was about 20-30 fps above my $200 chronograph with each shot. Also did not pick up shots consistently. Was using a .177 caliber Air Venturi Avenger.

Cheap but easdy to use
I gave up trying to figure out how many button pushes it takes to get to ft/sec and just convert from meters /sec with a calculator. I'm using this on an air rifle at just under 1000 ft per second. Not the recoil that you get from a firearm so my success is not a guarantee of future performance. The numbers it provided were believable but I can't really speak to accuracy. They did go up or down as a function of pressure in the rifle so i accept the numbers as accurate.
