Good bat, bad packaging
The bat itself is fine, but warranty sheet stuck to it and removed some of the finish when I took it off. My son probably couldn't care less, but I thought I'd point it out for others who are a little obsessive about things looking shiny and new like I am.

this is a great price for a really good quality bat
Home run hit here! Thank you so much, this is a great price for a really good quality bat.

Good entry level
Bat is fine for the price, and meets the new standards that everyone was scrambling to find something for. I didn't want to pay a lot till we knew what was what, so this fit the bill. The bat feels heavier than it should for the size, a balance issue I imagine. The end is rounded convex, not concave like higher quality bats are. Likewise, the barrel is relatively thin, as you would expect in the low end price range. That said, my son (7) is swinging smoother than he was with his old bat. After seeing what his teammates have, I'd probably skip this entry level and go for something around double the price, sub 100. I think it's probably worth it to get the wider barrel and better balance. We have a few guys with 300 dollar bats that don't seem much different than the 80 dollar versions.

Great size, hold. I use for protection🤗
This will be a strange review as I am in my 70s and bought this for protection in my house at the advice of police in our town for protection for those who don’t want guns. I love its light weight and fact it fits my hand. Bought another also to keep in bedroom. ( and I guess it would be able to have double duty for visiting grandchildren🤗)

Good for coach pitch
7 yo coach pitch son digs this bat (it was orange so I’m sure that’s the biggest reason he likes it)

USA stamp appropriate for Little League
Arrived earlier than promised to specs and performs well. USA stamp appropriate for Little League and the ounces suit my 9 year old grandson's height and swing. Definitely would recommend, the color is awesome!

Go with this to start it’s perfect and I’m not crying.
Good affordable starting bat. I could not imagine spending 200 on a bat, to watch my poorbaby boy swinging and missing this season. I don’t know much about baseball but I do know it can be way slow boring and expensive. When you lr kid start hitting the ball consistantly then go for broke but until then this is a good league approves bat.

Much heavier than listed!
We bought a 30"/20oz bat. When it arrived it felt heavier than expected, so I weighed it. It was 22.38 oz. Since bats are specifically designed and sold for their size/weight ratio, I'm pretty disappointed. A drop -10 is appropriate for the age/size/strength of my child, but this would be less than -8, which is not appropriate. This is getting returned and I will have to order something different.Edit - apparently the weight discrepancy is an issue with all 2018 USA bats because in the new standard the weight only refers to the shell whereas in the previous standard it was the whole bat. I'm upgrading my rating to a 3 since this is still towards the top of the allowed difference to meet the standard. We ended up going with an Easton S350 which is rated at 19oz and has an actual weight of 20.5 oz in order to get the proper weight my son needed.
