Big Machines Sticker Book (First Sticker Books series) : Felicity Brooks: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: The quality of this item should be celebrated! - OK it might not be perfect in every way, and people might pick it apart for myriad weird reasons. But as an overall package, it's got: Low tack stickers, can be stuck around repeatedly. 3 year old pulling and messing with them, and they don't tear. Tons of pages to go at. Hundreds of stickers to work though. Genuinely accurate machinery and scenes, I'm enjoying it as much as my son. Good price considering what you get. You could easily find a book like this pared right back on price and quality, but this is a really genuinely nice quality product. Real care and attention went into the design of all the graphics and the illustration, and then it has had proper quality materials put into the production. Very tempted to just buy another copy and store it away for when my son is a bit older as I'm sure he'll appreciate it more again in a few years to come! Review: Absolutely brilliant large book for 3 year old - Our toddler loves this! I was away for the weekend so bought this as a surprise for him if distraction was needed and it was a major hit. It’s a proper book, loads of thick pages, good quality stickers. At first he struggled to get them out by himself but it only took a few goes and he got the hang of it. It will come in handy for road trips, if we ever brave the pub with a toddler and a baby and there are different books in the series too. Definitely worth the money.

Great value!
This is one of the best Usbourne sticker books - and we buy a lot of them! My little boy (2 years old) loves stickers and he loves tractors, diggers, trucks, cars etc too. This book is packed with sticker scenes each section on a theme around big machines. One section, for example, is all about different diggers and consists of 6 or 7 double paged scenes with a sheet of stickers to go with each scene. The book is excellent value as you effectively get 4 sticker books for only slightly more than one by itself. We have so far gone through 6 or 7 copies of this book (as I said, he loves diggers!) and I can't rate it highly enough. A very worthwile purchase.

Keeps toddler entertained
My 2.5yr old boy loves this book. Plenty of stickers & pages to keep him entertained. One thing I’d say, it’d be better if you could take the sticker pages out, instead of having to flick pages back & fourth. But otherwise, I think I’ll be buying more in this range, ideal to take on holiday & out for meals

Superb value. Three sticker books in one.
Absolutely superb. Three sticker books in one. Many pages of scenes and digger, dumper, crane and excavator stickers. My grandson has spent hours completing these scenes. The artwork is detailed and interesting, each sticker is labelled so you can read out the technical vocabulary to the child and the stickers have perforated pages so it’s easy to tear the sticker pages out. Some don’t have page numbers so that finding the right page on which to stick those stickers takes a few seconds but apart from that , just brilliant value for money and hours of entertainment and enjoyment for 2 -3 year olds and older. I also recommend Airport, Travel, Trains, Cars in the same series. The Little sticker books are too small and don’t lie flat. These ones are the best.

Brilliant!
This sticker book is fantastic! Our two year old loves it and it will hold his attention for up to an hour at a time, which is quite amazing at his age. He cant really manage to peel the stickers off the backing himself so we have to read with him, but he likes it better that way anyway :) Only criticism is the stickers aren't very re-stickable - once you put them on the page they are pretty stuck and it damages them if you try and take them off again and they lose stick/get torn very quickly. But for the price of the book we have just bought a second one to start all over again for many more hours of happy little boy!

If your kid likes diggers & construction, this is the best!
My 2-year-old son loves diggers, trucks, construction vehicles. I previously bought him a different sticker book that required my help in peeling off the stickers. This book's stickers are easier to remove and I have to assist him less often. He can be absorbed in this book for 15-30 min at a time, which for a toddler is a long time! It also saved me on long car journeys as a distraction. He sticks the stickers on different pages and they last for several moves before falling off. We've owned the book for more than a month now and I'd say he's used about half the stickers so far. The detailed drawing of varied vehicles and accurate names means I'm learning as much as he is. I also appreciate that there are women represented, not everyone driving the diggers is a man. For the reviewers frustrated by the fact that their child is sticking them on the "wrong" pages, I don't think that's a fair criticism of the book, more that the child isn't old enough to match the sticker with the right scenes, of which there are many creative options, including a playground, quarry, building site, road repair, among many, many others. I'll probably buy the same book again when this one runs out!
