Excellent pepper mill. I use it mainly on setting 2 where it produces a huge amount from one twist (compared to my old mill). It really brings out the different flavours when you use different sources of corns. We have perhaps tripled the amount of pepper we use because it is so easy and delicious. One time, the output became reduced and I simply tipped out all the corns and put them back in again and it was back to its usual self. I never thought I would spend 40 pounds on a pepper mill but I love it (and won't need to buy another one in my lifetime.)

Arrived very quickly and all that sort of stuff. I have used an old pepper mill for years and I was very happy with it. Then it failed so I replaced it with a trendy glass one with a ceramic grinder. It was total rubbish and a waste of money. I like peeper so I bit the bullet and bought this somewhat pricy one. Worth every penny. It works flawlessly with the minimum amount of effort. There are several settings from course to fine so it will work in all sorts of situations. Well worth the money, it has a steel grinder and a lifetime guarantee. It also comes in a range of sizes so you can buy one to suit your budget. Highly recommended.

Misleading advert. There is no pepper with the pepper mill, despite contacting Peugeot customer service, nothing supplied. The real issue however is that the Peppermill just doesn’t work very well. I tried different fills , different peppercorn and both fine and course grinds , same thing, the peppercorns wouldn’t consistently go through the grinder. I tried to clean it, but it was brand new so there was nothing to impede the corns. I thought the variable grind system was pretty naff, it doesn’t work well. Looking through other comments now, I see that several people have commented on this. In conclusion, very attractive to look at but just doesn’t work very well.

Had this pepper mill for about 3 months now. It's in daily use and while we get through a lot of black pepper it doesn't need refilling that often. The different grind fine-ness really works. However, if I'm making a big change in size, I'll tip the thing upside down to get the pepper corns out of the metal grinders first.A couple of other things to note. First: when it was very new, there was more friction than you'd expect between mill head and body but that eased up in time (helped with a wipe of olive oil). Second: the top screw tends to undo itself over time. When tightening it back on, it's important that you don't fasten it too tight otherwiseOverall though, it's a great pepper mill. It's got that 'keeper' vibe and feels dependable and versatile for cooking and table seasoning.

Nice, sturdy, traditional design. Unfortunately it turns pepper into fine dust and does so inefficiently too. Quite expensive given it doesn’t work very well.

Quality products far superior to the others . as We've tried most other makes which failed ,We should have bought those first & probably woild still be using these.100% the best with a 10 year guarantee is the big plus.

Wow, this is it.I've owned and used a number of pepper grinders over the years and they always seem to disappoint. Remember that one time in a nice Italian restaurant where you as you rotated the top it cracked satisfyingly and just kind of flowed out? This is that, but better.Build quality looks and feels much better than any grinder I've owned in the past. Great feel as you rotate the top part, with a nice satisfying rumble almost as the grinder does its thing. The base rotates smoothly with a lot of adjustment to your grind size. I like a fairly course grind and this delivers no problem. It even comes with peppercorns inside. Couldn't be happier honestly, what a great product and well worth the price imo.
