Does the colostrum come from a2 cow breeds? as a1 cows milk is the one that causes digestive & health issues. this makes a huge difference.

Thank you for the question Cali. All New Zealand herds for colostrum collection are mixed A1 and A2 breeds. The casein content of colostrum is the same as that in regular milk. However, the peptides in colostrum temper allergic reactions by regulating the production of TH2 cytokines, and thus preventing the production of IgG antibodies from the casein.

Is your colostrum freeze dried? If not, how is it processed ?

Hi Stikman11. Thanks for the question. We follow the international standard of pasteurization of colostrum, which consists of a 15-second pasteurization at 72 degrees celsius. This marks the end of the processing. As an extra bonus... our colostrum is processed the same day it is collected. It does not sit around in a refrigerator for several days waiting. Thanks for the question. I believe that was supposed to say cold processed, but let us know if you have a different question. Once the colostrum is collected, it is chilled and transferred directly to the processing facility for same-day processing. The international standard for pasteurization is 15 seconds at 72 degrees Celsius. It is then low-temp spray dried to maximize bioavailability. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
