This is a really soft, chewy material that has a nice smell. My 3 month old found it easy to hold and bring to her mouth and there are a few different places/textures she can chew on. Would make a good gift for parents of a baby

I’ve never had one of these for my previous children, I thought they were a fad to be honest and didn’t understand what was so special about them compared to other teethers but having our last child, I thought we’d see what the hype was about and I can safely say I am a massive Sophie convert. There is just something about them that I’ve never seen before with other kinds of teethers. Our baby has been going mad on it and it’s so easy for her to hold. She’ll have a chew of her nose, then her leg and poor Sophie has been battered and bitten for months but still looks like she’s just come out the box. It seems to soothe her gums like nothing else and my only regret is not believing the hype and having them for my other babies!

I got the Sophie la girafe Original Baby Teething Toy as a gift because it’s such a renowned brand and came highly recommended. It’s definitely authentic, with the distinctive smell Sophie is known for (though it's not offensive).The only downside was that the box arrived slightly damaged, which was disappointing since it was meant as a gift for a baby who’s not yet born. Overall, I’m still happy with the purchase—it’s a classic teething toy with a great reputation.
