These are fabulous!! I got these for the office showroom, we have 4 places for hanging planters and I had 2 that I brought from home and then these. I went with the navy blue color and they look very nice hanging. I was trying to be cheap going with a smaller size pot but I ended up returning them and going with these for the size. I wanted something I could but a taller plant in the center and a vining one on the edges to spill over. Once my cuttings take root and start to finally spill over the pot it will be gorgeous! The pots could be used outside too, they have a drain plug that comes out easily to allow it to drain. They also come with the self watering trays to put in the bottom under the soil to retain some water, this is what I used. The chains came in individual bags, I thought they were going to be tangled terribly but they actually were not tangled at all, they have 3 S-hooks to slip into the three holes on the pot and one large S-hook to hang the pot by. It was easy to put together and hang. Like I said, I went with the navy blue color, it looks very nice, almost classy in our showroom. I didn't want a white or bright color that would stand out, I wanted it to look nice with the green plant leaves once it is fully established. I will definitely be getting more of these for at home. I checked 7-10 different stores in town before finally just getting these. Of all the stores I checked, only one had hanging planters and they were priced 1 pot for more than what these two cost and they did not have the metal chain to hang them, they came with hemp hangers. These are so worth the cost. They are wonderful!

Exactly as described. Comes with one off-center drainage hole on each pot (comes with a plug as well). I used my baskets to hold succulents. Due to this, I went ahead and drilled a second drain hole on the opposite side to keep my plants from over watering. Very sturdy. Holds a lot of weight. With soil and new growth, I’d say my planters are probably 15-20lbs and they’re holding up just fine. The metal chain connecting the pot to the hook will rust. It’s not coated. To avoid this, you could just spray with top coat. If you want the players to hold more weight, I’d suggest switching out the hanging chains and replacing with a better one.

I used the Hanging Planters outside for my succulents and cactus this year, and they worked wonderfully. They look really nice, and I love the insert design—it lets excess water drain but keeps it inside the pot, which really helps prevent overwatering, especially during rainy days. The pots held up perfectly through the summer sun without fading or warping. I’m already looking forward to using them again on my patio next summer. Highly recommend for anyone growing succulents or other low-water plants outdoors.

Beautiful and well-designed. I love the self-watering/drainage mechanism. My one complaint is that the hangers have rusted, so while the planting pots themselves are still like new (and gorgeous), they are not nearly as attractive because of the weathered hangers. (When new, the hangers were a glossy black, but are now a rusted and dull dark brown.) Is it so hard to provide hangers that are even a little resistant to the weather? (My pots were hung under a tree, so while not inside, we’re not fully exposed to the elements.). With this one small change this would get 5+ stars.

These are awesome, large size, internal self watering, I have a ton of house plants so quality pots is a thing in this house. Never leaks and I love the chains vs the ropes on other plant pots, it always seems like the ropes somehow end up crooked lol but not these. I paired them with white retractable hooks and makes my life so much easier. Woukd definitely purchase again

These are great products, but there are a couple of things to know. First, you need to squeeze the hooks shut on the planter pot so that they can't fall out when there's slack in the chain. Second, you might want to mark the strap at the best spot to stop raising the pot. If you raise it too high, then the ratchet doesn't want to release and you'll end up with a tired arm from trying to get it to release. I found that leaving about 3.5 inches on the strap will allow me to raise it enough to release the ratchet mechanism. Woks well for me that way.
