Why does the description say "no corn syrup", when it's listed as the 2nd ingredient on the ingredient list?

The description says "no high-fructose corn syrup." The ingredients list contains "corn syrup," which is not the same thing as "high-fructose corn syrup." There is no contradiction there, just similar-sounding terms.

Are any actual huckleberries used to make this product?

Bought 8 mo ago & don't remember. Honestly bought this in hopes to be as good as the "berry" licorice at trader joes, that is seasonal from July to Oct. But this huckleberry licorice didn't taste as fresh or have the berry flavor burst I like.

This brand does offer products that are certified organic.

You call it gourmet but use artificial colors?

Gourmet foods can contain artificial flavors and still be considered high quality.
