Worked perfectly

I used these to build a canister filter out of a 5-gallon bucket and they work 100% better than uniseals. I'll stick with these bulkhead fittings from now on. The holes I drilled in the plastic buckets were a little wobbly so I added some silicone sealant before tightening, and there are no leaks. 3/4" slip bulkhead fittings worked with 3/4" PVC pipe just fine.

Great fitting. I'm a pipe fitter so i use a million fitting and this one is standard. I don't understand why people complain. No need for a second gasket, it is water proof just hand tight. (hint : the gasket do not go on the nut side)

Got this to use in a rain barrel build. Worked great. I like this 3/4 better than the 1/2 version on my last barrel, The 3/4 had a much better flow rate, especially once the barrel starts to get empty. Hole is about 1.25" and I installed with about half CC of silicone caulking from a squeeze tube. No leaks and working great in hot Texas sun. Used two, One at the bottom and a second right at the top edge for an overflow.
