I bought two of these, along with an extension hose and probes, and I'm very glad I did. We're at 100+ degrees and my plants are powering through like it's nothing. I love the fact that you can adjust the watering interval, I just wish it allowed you to water at intervals less than 12 hours but I compensate for that by setting the water time a little longer at each interval. I highly recommend this, I don't have to water anything manually, just fill up the water reservoir once or twice a day.

I didn't expect much but this little guy works wonders. I have it currently watering 8 plants and haven't had any issues with it. I have it set to water in certain intervals and notifies me when the water runs out. The kit comes with everything needed.

Pros: This is a great idea, and I enjoyed the adorable garden tools that it comes with (useless, but cute). On more useful note, it comes with plenty of tubing, tees, drippers, and even includes scissors. It was relatively easy to put together, especially after letting the tubing sit in the hot sun for a few minutes.Cons: the fittings are fragile, and you must be gentle as well as firm when pushing the tubing onto them. After only 2 weeks in the sunshine, they get brittle. They still work fine... so long as you don't mess with them. So set it up, then don't touch it! If this thing keeps working, I'll probably replace the tubing and fittings with better stuff.The in-betweens: the solar panel and pump unit are combined, which makes it awkward to use the buttons on the control panel. I basically memorized where the "manual" button was so I can push it via the Braille method to test the system. Also, the solar panel unit must be higher than the water reservoir so that the "on" cycle doesn't start a siphon that drains the water bucket after the pump clicks "off".Although they provide 15 drippers, that would be fine only for indoor potted plants that only need " a sip" each. For outdoor plants, I wouldn't recommend using more than 8 drippers, in order to provide enough water per plant. I use this solar waterer for refilling ollas (look it up) which then provide the plants with water anytime they need it. Rather than refilling a bunch of individual ollas, I now just refill 1 bucket.I don't know how long-term reliable it will be. Still testing...UPDATE May 2025: I have 2 of these solar waterers, and 1 has quit working after only 1 month of gentle use (protected from rain & moisture). I will attempt to contact the company...UPDATE part 2: Impossible to contact the seller directly, and Amazon makes it difficult to ask any questions outside of their preprogrammed responses. So, there's no recourse. Bad quality product. Waste of money.

I bought two. I liked them originally so much I bought another! But then, the third one, the "out" line popped off no matter what I did. I even used a zip tie to hold it on. It lasted a single day. Yesterday, the first one, running since March 2025( approximately1 month), the in nosel broke off, as I turned it up to more frequent watering. Please understand I've been exceptionally gentle with them all as they were potentially life savers for my garden. So out of 3, 2 no longer will work. I'm watching the third. My fingers are crossed but I won't be repurchasing them. I'd recommend you find another one with better long term reviews.

Awesome product and great customer service.I purchase this item and setup like the instructions stated. The solar portion of the unit would not feed water and kept beeping when on. This indicated that there was no water when the sensors were clearly in the same 50 gal rain barrel filled almost to the top. I contacted the company and, not only were they friendly they replaced the item right away. I will be ordering from again. Again fantastic customer support.

What a great investment works as advertised very easy to set up going to make watering a breeze! I’m ordering two more so at least when we go away, our gardens are taken care of!
