These capsules are very good for what my gastro ordered. They give consistency to feces to make them easier to be released from the body. They also do the opposite effect, like for example, if the person has an occasional diarrhea, the capsules will also give the right consistency for feces to normalize. They are not, however a cure for diarrhea that is continuous. For that, a person should seek medical help.

Clean, natural, with prebiotics and probiotics and pysllium fiber - in the past, I've had terrible luck with fiber pills and swore I would never take any again. But this one has inulin (from chicory) and something prompted me to try it. To my amazement, ZERO BAD SIDE EFFECTS (be sure to swallow the pill with a full glass of water!), but several GOOD effects - getting things moving, for one.This seems to help with weight loss. (Which wasn't even one of my goals in taking it.)No awful flavors, no horrible "coming back up again" -I only take one pill, most days (I rarely remember to take non-Rx every day).I've recommended this one to my sisters, daughter, mother, niece.... and my husband takes fiber pills every day (doctor's orders, for him).We'll have to do the Subscribe-and-Save with this one!

So far so good. Doing the job my doctor said it would do. Two per day works for me (one with breakfast, one with dinner). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the capsule is a little difficult to swallow in that it can stick to my mouth. Honestly, a pinch of liquid moves it along so not terrible, just mentioning if anyone has trouble swallowing pills. I can normally just swallow any pill and then drink liquid afterward. These are a great value for the price and will purchase again.

Easy to take. No taste or smell. Experiment the no. Of capsules are effective.

After taking for 7 days, she's regular after years of digestive issues. Stools are starting to get softer. We will continue to use this. Great product!

As far as the taste and health benefits are concerned, it's tasteless and I'm sure it's like all other psyllium powders. However I was disappointed to find it does not mix easily into liquids, I basically have to use an immersion blender to get it to blend in and not be in clumps. This means I can't use it for putting in my coffee, which is how I'd planned to use it. ( I drink my coffee slowly, and with psyllium you have to drink it quickly before it starts to gel up.) Maybe it can be used in baking, or in a type of liquid you can drink quickly.I also thought it was weird that the serving size is listed as "one scoop" (rather than 1 tsp., 1 Tbs, or some other recognizable measure. There is NO "scoop" included in the bag. How am I supposed to know how much "a scoop" is?Finally, while it may not be the fault of the product, it did give me bad cramps and gas the first few days I tried it. I know it says to start slowly and build up to avoid this, but I spread out my intake over a day--with a serving size split into three portions taken at three different meals) and I'm used to a high fiber diet and was reducing my normal fiber intake at the same time, so I didn't think I'd have that much of a problem. I had to stop and pause for a few days, as the GI upset was too annoying. I'll resume again later and see if starting with just tiny, incremental doses work better. Overall I'm not sure what to think of this product--I think psyllium husk powder is a great health supplement but have been disappointed with my first experience with this particular brand or form of it.
