Waxed thread was an excellent repair medium for Handbags and Rucksacks where handles and straps stitching had started to fail rendering what was still a good and serviceable item, useless. The use of the waxed thread breathed new life and wear into my much loved handbag.

This is *NOT* proper waxed leatherworking thread. It's synthetic and there is no apparent wax. It's floppy and literally comes unraveled at the end if you brush your finger against it. The spool I was sent was obviously opened by someone else who had also sent it back. It is VERY Made In China.
