Lamp life support, plug and play
This cord is basically CPR for lamps—plug it in, strip the ends, and suddenly your sad, lifeless light fixture is back in business. The polarized molded plug feels like it was designed by someone who really cares about your DIY dignity. Eight feet gives you enough slack to pretend you’re an electrician without tripping over yourself. I used it to revive a lamp that had been sitting in the corner like a moody teenager, and now it’s glowing like it just found purpose. UL listed, so you can brag about being safe and stylish.

It's cord, it works fine but be aware it's a little thick for some lamps
It's a cord and I was able to make it work. My wife wanted a white cord to replace brown cord in some antique lamps. The quality is good, the length is good, the package came right away without any damage. The only complaint is that the insulation on the cord is a little thicker than many lamp cords, so it was a very tight fit in the lamps I used them in. I made it work, but it was tighter than I felt it needs to be, and it may not work for some others, so be aware of this. If your current lamp already has plenty of space for the cord, then this is a good option.

Good Simple Lamp Cord
I purchased the lamp cord in brown, which is a dark walnut brown. It’s a simple lamp cord replacement that can be used for ungrounded devices in standard US electrical outlets (110V/120V A/C). Do not use this replacement cord for devices with a ground (i.e., three-prong plugs). The copper wires under the sheath are stranded rather than solid. This is ideal for flexibility of the cord itself. The tips are soldered with sheath stripped back approximately 1/2 inch (1 cm) for easier installation. The cord can be trimmed if the full length is not required, although you would need to trim the sheath to reveal the copper and would need to be more cautious when connecting the stranded copper (or opt to solder the revised end yourself). Overall, the replacement lamp cord meets its needs and comes recommended as a non-grounded replacement cord.

Bought it to replace a power cord in a lamp that my lovely dog chewed up few months ago. I almost threw the lamp away but I am glad I found this on Amazon and saved me $120 to buy a new one. The replacement was easy and it comes with infection. Make sure you follow it if you are like me and got no knowledge of electrical stuff. I learned that there is a positive and a negative side on it but you will be able to identify each by following the instructions. Overall I recommend this to anyone looking so save some money and fixing a lamp cord. Please note that this power cord is ONLY for replace power cord for lamps.

Exactly what I needed within my price range. Was easy to install and works great. These are not easy to find in brick & morter, and if can find them this price is ridiculous. So thanks again Amazon for a great find.
