Geeni Connect Bridge Smart Home Hub - WiFi Bluetooth Bridge Gateway Hub - Works with Smart Life App and Tuya, Voice Control, Compatible with Alexa and Google Home Assistant

I purchased this gateway to work with a smart door knob I had purchased. Originally I thought the doorknob was wifi enabled, but found out quickly it was only bluetooth. I installed this gateway and added it in the exisiting SmartLife app/account I have, and added the existing doorknob to it all in less than 1 minute. It was super easy to do and did not give me any issues at all. Now when I am away from home I can make sure the door is locked or unlock it or give someone a temporary passcode to use. I would definitely purchase this again. If I needed to add more for other devices in the future.

I can easily get this bridge to be recognized by the manufacturer's app and by my WiFi but it doesn't "find" any Bluetooth at all, not even devices ten feet from it with both in pairing mode. In my opinion, this item only works with Geeni products. It apparently, although it is strongly implied to do so, does NOT work with anything else bluetooth. Nothing. Zip. Nada. Zilch. Their phone customer service was useless as well. Nice people. Offshore. I know more about the product function than they. They wanted me to "video" it and send them the video. Ridiculous request! I've spent several hours playing with this thing. I don't have any more time to waste! It's going back!

The signal has a very short range and does not support any application beyond 15ft.

This was an awesome fix. This should be built into the lock box. This makes it work the way it should. This product works great relatively easy to install, i love it

Have been using this for a while. It works perfectly and synchronizes well with Bluetooth devices. However the app needs to be more user friendly. Sometimes this doesn’t take precedence when another device is connected to the Bluetooth device.

I've never given a 2 star review before. I didn't give it one star because it probably works as the manufacturer intended, but the product description on Amazon is wrong.It's stated on the box that this wifi bridge requires Geeni outdoor lighting devices. The online description says "your bluetooth connected devices" and gives you the impression it will work with other brands and other non-lighting devices. That part is incorrect.I tried both the Geeni and Tuya apps and got the same results. Both apps connected just fine to the device. After connecting this bridge to your wifi, you then search for bluetooth devices to control. I have several bluetooth switch devices that work but have a flakey app that is no longer supported, and a lightbulb with a bluetooth interface. This bridge didn't find any of them. You can't pair with what you can't find. That makes this device useless unless your devices are made by Geeni.I'd love it if Geeni could prove me wrong or Amazon changes it's product description. I really wanted this bridge to work.

Before purchasing I read many bad reviews about this product but I did not wanted to believe them. Turns out every bad review were correct, it does in fact fail to find and pair to my Bluetooth Smart Beacon RGBCW Light Bulbs after more than two hours of trying. This thing is trash. Back it goes to Amazon for a refund! Don't buy!

it allows me to use google home to unlock my devices easily because the tuya app was confusing but using the bridge with smart life and google home app it’s simple!
