Only 2 8-pin pcie is connected to the 12vhpwr connector. since an 8-pin pcie is only rated for 150w, how then can it deliver 600w as advertised?

However, the power supply manufacturers themselves have been able to double their power output by more than 300 W for a few years now, and I hear the Corsair is around 374W (over 400W at its instantaneous=spike peak). This means that if you have 2 PCIe power supply connectors, 600 W output is more than enough.
