This was a fun thing I got for us but it's turned out to be more helpful than I thought. It's allowed us to try a few more cuts/types of meat, since we can worry less about screwing it up.We keep it on the side of the fridge, not on the grill. I feel like it would get melty or damaged if it was on the grill. Don't know if that's right or wrong, but it doesn't hurt anything to keep it on the fridge. Lots of good info on this bbq chart. It has lots of useful info but it’s missing recommended starting temps. Yes internal temp are important but w/o starting temps how do we achieve optimal results? It’s also not outdoor friendly. If your thinking of leaving it on your bbq I would think twice. We noticed right away the corners were starting to lift from the magnet.
