I had a warm water tap installed on the wall of my house near where I put up the rink. When combined with this, it makes resurfacing the rink an absolute breeze. The included shut-off valve on the handle work very well and the item seems well-constructed. It does take some effort to screw th4e parts together, but the upshot is a watertight fit that allows for easy operation. I am able to resurface my 30' x 60' rink in about 5-8 minutes. This is heaven when you have frequent snowfalls and need to resurface after shoveling the rink clean. The terry cloth towel attachment comes off for easy cleaning. I wouldn't recommend putting it in the laundry machine, but really all you need to do is rinse it under the tap in the sink from time to time to get the debris off. The price is a little ridiculous, but the functionality and time-saving is so huge that it is actually worth it. I am annoyed that I put off buying one for a season. It would have saved me so much time and labor.
