These worked great for soapmaking. I like having the option of rectangular or elliptical, and the price is good too. I first considered getting a mold with rounded / softer edges but realized that the top edges of the soap would be sharp regardless (unless you sand them down after popping them out) and decided better to have uniformly sharp edges all around. Doesn't take long for them to round out in the shower. :)

I bought these specifically to make some underarm deodorant from coconut oil and baking soda. I put the rounded mold on a cookie sheet, melted the coconut oil, added the baking soda, poured the concoction into the molds, then put the molds into the cold room. They came out perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great for melt and pour soap. They are soft enough for easy removal but keep their shape when using.
