1 WATT USAGE EQUIVALENT TO 7 WATT BRIGHTNESS
This is what I understand this light bulb to be: 1 watt usage 7 watt brightness. I needed a night light for me & my kitty--I need to avoid stepping on my her at night & a dim amber light without the blue light so she could also better enjoy her water fountains in the bedroom. I need to sleep & she needs to sleep. I needed to replace a very dim blue LED light that is not sold any more--extremely frustrating. This says only 7 watt brightness. The color glow is fabulous & it is dim indeed. The 7 watt brightness equivalent to the older incandescent light bulbs appears to be OK, I think; although, I would have appreciated a bulb that was just a tiny bit dimmer because it appears a bit brighter. I had to get a basket weave type shade & it works well & it very soothing & attractive at night. I must leave it on all night. For that reason, it could be a tiny bit dimmer. Be aware that the packages which contain more light bulbs are much stronger in light. There seems to be little demand & manufacturing of night time bulbs that are dim enough to sleep with all night long. I cannot use night lights plugged into the wall. My sockets are all used up & I need a light on top of a table--where I want it & need it--not near the floor & in odd places taking up the entire socket. I am happy with this light. There are simply no other options out there for anything better. I don't understand the demand for stronger amber light if you just want a night light or dim light near the TV that you leave on all night rather than turn off. I might look into an amber light for reading at night, too, but for now, I just need a night light. There should be reading light & sleeping light. So it is a 7 watt brightness--that's what it says. It is the lowest light brightness for night time available that I can see. Good for kitties, good for people, babies, etc.

Life-changing
We love these, especially as a mom nursing through the night. I find I go back to sleep way easier and so does babe when I'm nursing in the room using the red light lamp compared to other lights. Does take some getting used to, but it's bright enough to read by with still being dim enough to help me wind down and get sleepy at night too. Been on the same bulbs now too for over 2 years so great quality for the price and a pretty decent lifespan I think.

I prefer these bulbs to other more expensive competitors!
These are great bulbs. I've purchased two packages now and they're both holding up well. I haven't needed to replace any yet. I use them all over my home and really enjoy them after dusk. They do not flicker and cast a really nice glow throughout the room. I prefer these to red light bulbs because I don't enjoy a red light vortex, so if you're like me, looking to avoid that, but reap the benefits of no blue light and no flicker bulbs - these are a really nice alternative! I have used Blu Blox, not Bon Charge bulbs and theirs consistently burned out within a few months of use. At $30 a bulb this was not an acceptable performance for a bulb that only gets used a for few hours in the evening. These bulbs have not burned out and they are also not so dim that I cannot see well in the evening hours. Definitely worth a try and I highly recommend them.

Red light
I feel this really works . It’s calming . It’s just not bright enough to read by . I use it in the bedroom .

Good for middle of the night diaper changes…
Keeps us and our baby sleepy without interrupting our circadian rhythms during middle of the night feedings and changes. No flicker and provides enough light to see what you are doing. Nice that it was a 2-pack

Works very good
It is working, I use it in a a daily basis to promote sleeping. I also purchased a dimmer to tune the intensity of red light. Great product..!

Inconsistent.
I ordered the 4 pack. They arrived intact and all working. The amber color is lovely and relaxing. One of these will fill a whole bedroom with dim light. It's too bright for use as a nightlight, and it's too bright for use without a lampshade. I can't speak to the longevity. If they blow out soon I'll update this review, but I'm very satisfied thus far.Update: Three of the four bulbs have been in use since I ordered. The first of those has just blown out, which means it lasted around four months. The box claims 25,000+ hour life. Four months, 24/7, equals about 2900 hours. So this bulb lasted less than 1000 hours. That's very disappointing! Hopefully the other three bulbs will last longer. I've removed one star from my original review, but I still love these bulbs.Second update, December 2023:One of the bulbs lasted about 4 months, one lasted about 6 months, one lasted about 10 months, and one is still going for 10+ months, all with roughly the same amount of use. Pretty inconsistent and still not anywhere near the supposed 25,000 hour lifespan. Then I ordered another 4 pack, only to discover that the first box was 7w bulbs and these new ones are 1w. They're significantly dimmer, more like a nightlight. I see that they're still selling the 7w bulbs in smaller packs, so it's my mistake for not paying attention to the wattage. Beware. The attached photo is of one of the 7w bulbs.
