I'm 260lb, will this door pull up bar actually hold me?

Yes,I’m 275lb,it can hold me very well,and it looks very solid,I think it’s not a problem.

How to adjust. Just received used from Amazon and too wide for my doors

You can choose different width levels of hole positions for assembly,The smallest level can shorten the pull up bar length to 32.3 inches.This multiple levels width adjustable pull up bar can be precisely mounted on any standard 21.65 "- 39.37" wide doorways.

My door has 3 of the measurements needed other than the thickness of the door. The thickness of my door is 3.9 inches will the pull u bar work still?

The thickness of the door doesn't matter because the door is out of the way when the bar is installed. What matters is the total thickness of the door frame.

Will this work with taller trim heights >4"? It ays 3.75" but I can't see why the bar wouldn't work with taller trim.

If the trim is too tall, the bar can't curve around under the top of the frame. I measured it, and it looks like it is ok for up to 4.25".
