So worth the cost!
I'm allergic to something in US milk products. I can consume milk products in other countries for weeks at a time and suffer no consequences. But as SOON as I start eating US food products again, I experience body pain all over. This imported Italian parmesan cheese is superb and well worth the money. Delicious, smooth, and lasts a very long time. I'll never touch the stuff in a can ever again!

Disappointed
I have ordered quite a few times and usually quality is really good but this time it isn’t. It’s hard and dry. It’s been a disappointment.

Excellent cheese
Compared to grocery store Parmesan this is an opulent experience for your taste buds. The delivery time and packaging were excellent. The cheese is delivered with a cold pack.

Fantastic!
Excellent Parmesan! We cut it up and store the pieces in the freezer for our OXO grater that allows you to just leave a chunk in it. Much better flavor and texture that store bought parmesan shaker "cheese".

It's not what it says it is.
I PURCHASED this cheese some time ago & just recently opened it. I first sliced a chunk off the pointed end, and that was my first clue. The knife cut feel was as though I were slicing through Fontina. Way too soft to be a good Parm Regg. 1st thing I do before tasting anything that goes into my mouth is to smell it. I have a sniffer that would challenge Smokey the Bear's. There was barely a traceable aroma, maybe just a tad of nuttiness. Taste? My palate is right up there with my sense of smell, and I'll tell you, this cheese is 85-95% lacking in flavor. And where are those lovely salt crystals that form during a proper aging process? You know, the ones that open the palate. Almost nowhere in sight. And it gets worse. It is advertised as Aged 24-36 months. The label on the cheese packaging says 'aged over 18 months'. Advertising one thing and shipping another product, I believe, is strictly unlawful. Before I submit this, I am going to decrease my slightly generous star ratings due mostly on the false advertisement. I put caps on PURCHASED, as I know my review will come up as a VINE shopper, which I've been for some time, but this cheese was a purchase I made as an Amazon Prime shopper, who in this case paid too much money for a false product.
