Pretty cool
It’s a pretty simple but cool toy. Makes a nice desk dragon. Transforming it from a ball to a dragon is pretty simple even without instructions. The only thing that I missed when I checked the instructions later is the torso needs to be rotated 180. Putting it back in a ball is a lot harder since it’s not obvious how to get it in a shape to fit back together.

Keep you eye on the ball
Transformer style toy. Super neat.

Not bad, a cool little tchotchke
It is a cool little collectible, and well made. It doesn't take up a lot of space when it's a D20, and the creature is cool. It is easy to get from D20 to the monster, but getting it back is a pain, and the D20 sides are hard to get fully closed (so I took a star off). Besides that, it's neat, and any D&D fan would like it!

Cute and exactly as advertised
Got this as a gift for my favorite DM. As expected, he loved it. It is a very cute toy. When folded up it is a D20. You wouldn't know it was anything else. Origamied into its other form it looks like an owl bear and stands up. This is a small plastic toy, so it isn't terribly sturdy and will now survive pets or little children for long. But it fills its purpose and amuses

A good Birthday gift
I got this for a cousin and man did he like it. I liked it too! Heck, I keep trying to figure out which one I'll get. I hope they keep making more and do the other dice too like a d4 shambling mound or d6 goblins. They are nifty.

Lots of fun for D&D, dragon, or Transformers fan
I bought this Diceling for my son, who loves both dragons and Transformers. The dragon is very poseable and the transformation is just complex enough to be interesting, without being too difficult to manage.

It's...okay....
So, first of all, it arrives in an odd-shaped box on a backing card (they break down as all one piece). The die/figure is held in place in the box by two pieces of support cardboard. When you open the box, the piece is in 20-sided die shape and has tissue paper sticking out of it, presumably to prevent the parts from rubbing against each other in transit. There are fold-out instructions in the box as well. The instructions are a little hard to follow. They aren't always clear about how a piece of the miniature moves. For instance, the head piece is supposed to swing up, but to do this you have to press down on the back edge of the back of the neck. The first move to "transform" the figure is to open the wings. I did this and promptly had one of the forearms fall off. It's a ball-and-socket mount, so I snapped it back on. The figure is decent looking with some good articulation when you have it opened up. The forearm on mine fell off again twice more while I was transforming it. The figure's joints are stiff enough that it can stand on its own when fully transformed as well. The die faces become (among other things) the wings of the dragon figure. They have good enough articulation that they don't necessarily look like "dice pieces." Getting the figure back into the die shape is difficult though. The instructions don't provide steps for this, and reverse engineering the previous instructions isn't as useful as you might think. The forearms in particular can be troublesome (in addition to the previous mention of the forearms tendency to fall off). It's a fun figure though. The jaw is articulated as well, and the face sculpt is close enough to the picture in the monster Manual. It's a fun toy to have, but it's not for young children. Also, in die form, it isn't balanced enough to be considered a truly random d20.

It’s so cute!
Goes great with my in-game pet owlbear. It’s not great to roll, but it’s definitely a worthwhile purchase.

It is the same design as the others, obviously, just with a different head and tail. But the features are washed out, and the eyes aren't painted. And the jaw doesn't open all the way. I'm basically in it for the collection. I hope there will be a blue one as well to round them up. Black has the best head sculpt (but needs a bit of blow drying to fix the horns), but Red is the best overall.

I prefer red dragons, but this one has the best sculpted head. The jaws are super good looking, and the horns are really distinctive. The horns were slightly deformed out of the packaging, but a couple of seconds with the hair-dryer fixed them right up.
