Good grinding wheel

Takes a little effort to keep things smooth
Tried this on a concrete patch where I repaired a portion of our driveway. Works great - please use goggles and the angle-grinder's guard because small concrete fragments shoot out fast. But, with some effort I was able to smooth a very rough section down to the smoothness of the rest of the driveway. Almost no detectable wear on the wheel, so this will last a while.

Great for grinding thinset
Had to remove porcelain tiles for repair and used this grinder wheel to remove the thinset. It cut thru it like butter. This absolutely the best way to remove thinset. Other grinder stones are slow. Also recommend a dust free shroud for the angle grinder that you hook up to a shop vac for a dust free grinding experience.

Great Product
A diamond segmented surface grinding wheel is the only way to remove 'thinset' quickly and efficiently. Stop wasting your money on tile scraping tools to remove thinset. Tile scraping tools will not remain sharp long enough to put a dent in any job requiring thinset removal. Additionally, significant difference with regard to 'pain and suffering' effects when the task is completed utilizing a grinding wheel vs tile scraper. Highly recommend the addition of a dust shroud attachment and wetting the surface to be removed. My area was approximately 7x10. Finished thinset removal in under 3hrs only because my shop vac did not meet minimum threshold requirement as it pertained to CFM.

wow! $10 gets manageable cutting and good longevity
grinding new home build foundation high spots, probably ground about 75 Sq Ft. in 3 areas of a small home. Prepping for plank flooring with max 1/4" variance. With a simple B&D grinder this 4.5" wheel worked like a champ. All my grinding done, the wheel looks like I can do 3 more houses. Did not expect the decent cutting power or it lasting as it has. Recommend and would buy again
