This is a brilliant toy, many different buildings can be made
This is a brilliant toy, many different buildings can be made, it seems unbrakable, the car bases are sturdy and large enough to travel on carpet ,where Lego gets stuck. The translucent colours on some pieces is pleasant. I had never seen this toy advertised anywhere, it was recommended to me by a mum. Very good for children who like making items then changing them, knocking them down then building up again. It comes with a cloth bag for the pieces so must be one of the quickest lots to tidy up. Excellent.

Fantastic toy loved by the whole family!
I love these! There are so many ways for my 2 and 4 year old to play with them apart from just building. The translucent colours are beautiful when using a torch to project onto a wall. I started with a set of magnatiles and was worried that these magnets wouldn't be as strong. I think the magnets are the same, but the pieces in the stick n stack are very slightly heavier so they aren't quite as strong. This is only really noticeable in the standard square tiles and only when I was testing it, not during normal play. However it really is marginal and you can still build very tall structures. Overall I think these are a fantastic set, the variety of pieces really adds to the play value and I would definitely buy more from this brand.

Such a great toy, great quality and durability
Such a great toy, great quality and durability, bought these for my 3 year old, but my 7 year old plays with them as much as him. Lovely and calming to play with, great fun to play with on a homemade light table, or even to shine a torch through, and see what colours you get when you mix two different tiles. A little pricey, but in terms of hours spent playing with these and quality, they have been worth it!!

Excellent
Bought this for my two year old son. He hasn't stopped playing with it since he opened it on Xmas day. Very durable, it's been chucked and dropped and not broken. Easy to use and he's already made some fab creations (for a two year old!!)

A great product of wonderful quality!
A great product of wonderful quality! It provides my children with hours of independent play and creativity. Even a very young child can enjoy it just by stacking the pieces. Highly recommended for all ages!

Inferior magnets, but creative shapes
This is an inferior magnetic tile product compared to PlayMags, PicassoTiles, and the original Magnatiles. Specifically, this product has polarity issues: the tiles won't stick in any orientation but must be flipped to the correct side to stick. This is not the case with the other products. Therefore, it causes stability issues when building tall structures. Also, when compared directly to competitor products, the.Stick and Stack is lighter and not as thoroughly reinforced on the interior. Seems fine in isolation, but not in comparison. On the plus side, this product has the widest variety of shapes and colors, allowing for some of the most creative structures. I personally happen to really like the "fence" pieces, which are shown as turrets in the stock photo of the castle. If you have a child who is more creative than one who wants to build it high, you might actually prefer this set, even with the polarity issues. For reference, we have this item plus a 100-piece PlayMags set, and I've compared the tiles directly to the other brands referenced earlier.

Excellent buy!
My daughter has been playing with a set of Magnatiles for over two years now. We love them, but they are pricey. I decided to try this different brand as a holiday gift. The price was good, and I liked the extras such as the car, people and windows. My daughter is ecstatic over these. It's lot of pieces with many possibilities.I was wondering if they would be cheaper feeling or not as nice as Magnatiles, but I honestly can't tell the difference between the two when I compare them side by side. These are great toys because it's not messy and entertains a child for hours day after day. I love them. Excellent buy and value! In my photo - Magnatile on the left and Shape Mags on the right.

Best toy i have ever gotten them!
My boys got a small set of another brand of these magnet tile sets for Christmas from my sister and they would fight over them. So, I decided to buy the 120 pc set by Shape Mags and I was thrilled that they are the same shapes and sizes as the other set we have but also with a couple unique shapes we didn't have! They can play with these everyday. In fact the first thing they do when they get home from school is plop on the floor and play them. And there are enough pieces that they haven't fought haha.I would have loved these as a child. They are the most genius toys I have seen. Almost all age levels can operate them. My 4 year old is better at this than I seem to be!We move around and travel alot and i think these will be our go to travel toy.

Super weak magnets
Super weak magnets. We already have Picasso and Magna tiles and ordered these for the grandparents' because we liked the different shaped tiles. Huge disappointment and frustration for our kid (and us). You can't even build a two row tile house with a roof without it collapsing. The other brands have only limited our building height by the amount of tiles we own. Unfortunately too late to send them back.

Probably not the best out there.
If you're curious to why this product has so many positive reviews, let me tell you: when you receive the box, there's a little card in there saying that in exchange of an amazon review, the company will send you a booklet with 30 something plans to build fancy stuff with your tiles. I guess the tiles are okay (except for the bag that arrived ripped), not having ever used other brands of magnetic tiles I cannot compare them to anything else (for instance, as soon as something or someone bumps into a construct the whole thing falls apart - not sure other brands do that?). Still, I find this way of manipulating amazon customers like me, who tend to base their decisions on other people's reviews, pretty misleading and annoying.

Great set
My children are magna tiles enthusiasts and we have a huge collection from a few different companies. This set is the perfect set to add to our collection as they have different colors and neon effect to add to the mix. The magnets work well with other brands as well and price point is even better than others. A must have for anyone with children and will make an awesome christmas or birthday gift. Package arrived early and was in perfect condition.

Just as good as the more expensive brand
Santa got this for my five year old during Christmas. He loves it. He had seen the more expensive brand at the store and had them on his Xmas list. When Santa delivered these he was not disappointed. These stick to each other very well. His seven year old brother is also enjoying them very much. He also received the Magnetic stick n stack stablizer (that is how they spell it on Amazon) building plate and use it as a base to build castles and large towers. Just today they built a tower that was over five feet. Interestingly enough, their nine year old brother got the expensive brand of these from his aunt and he has not really used them. I can't really tell a difference between these and the expensive brand. I am getting a free creating book from the company for this review.

No Regrets
This was our first adventure with magnetic blocks so I can't compare brands but....my 3 yr old absolutely loved this set for Christmas! It had a nice variety of pieces both in shape and color. He has managed to build a 4 story house without assistance. Pieces click together easily and he will sit for over an hour constructing, demolishing, and constructing again. Over the holidays we had 6 children in the living room from age 1-12 quietly playing with this one set. There were enough pieces that some kids worked independently and others teamed up to create larger buildings. They have been thrown, stomped, and chewed on with no chips or cracks. For some reason the white tiles are my kid's favorite, so I am glad they were included.Cons: Occassionally playing with tiles on carpet causes them to repel...maybe due to a static charge? Regardless, would definitely purchase again and will probably expand with additional sets at a later date.

I'd give this 10 stars if I could.
Bought this for my sons for Christmas to go with their Magnatiles set- it works perfectly with them, but it adds SO MUCH to the set. I LOVE all of the options and variety for the pieces... It allows them to get more creative than they can with the Magnatiles. This set came with two "people" to ride on the train (or whatever it is)... The train is really neat because you can stack the tiles on it and then put them on a shelf. It also came with a drawstring storage bag which is nice.My sons are 2 and 4 year old and they absolutely love these magnetic toys- they will spend hours playing with them. We built a castle with this set on Christmas. My 2 year olds teacher was very impressed with how well he builds with them but we do practice a LOT. I like that there's no small pieces.I highly recommend this toy... This would be one of my top 5 toys because it's quiet, it keeps them entertained a long time, they're easy to cleanup, and they don't seem to ever get boring. Plus I like to play with them too!Now the set came with an ad for their other sets- definitely worth checking out. Wish I'd seen this before Christmas because they have some really neat options, ie. Train set of these, wheel base, engineer set, etc. Not all appear to be listed on Amazon. But if you found this set under "Magnatiles" search then try searching for "Magnetic Stick N' Stack" so you can find more of these sets. I'll add a pic of the ad to this review so you can see.

A hit with the grandkids
I bought a set of Magna Tiles to use as a "Grandma" toy (I keep them at my house and bring them with me when I babysit at their house--but they come home with me). I wanted more pieces and noticed this Stick N Stack set that includes windows, doors, gates and car bases. Two of the grandkids, ages 4 and 2, were here recently and this new addition was a big hit! As already mentioned by other reviewers, they work great with my other set. I also bought a Stick N Stack base and that was a fun addition. They all fit in a plastic 32 quart "high rise" plastic bin so Grandpa is happy, too!

Not for biters and chewers
This is probably the best bang for your buck. I loved the “train” pieces included (my son did). The only two pieces I thought were worthless in this set were the two non-magnetic little peg people that are supposed to fit in the train base. This magnetite set is compatible with the other magnitile sets, but it is definitely a flimsier plastic. You can only tell this at the part where the plastic connects together to hold the magnets in. No real concern except if your child is a chewer or likes to bite on toys- DONT let them chew on these. The plastic can be bent (though not too easily) and magnets can be ingested. Otherwise my kids loved these!

Good but do not work "well" with Picasso Tiles
These are great magnetic blocks....BUT unfortunately they did not work with our Picasso Tiles. The magnetic was just as strong- so I think they are great blocks just not with another brand. We love the different shapes tho!! Also worthy of noting...these have a metal piece that moves so they can be shook.... meh I'd rather not have more noise....that's just me....I'm returning these and buying more Picasso or another compatible brand

... 4 year old opened these for Christmas and absolutely love them. They’ve used them so creatively
Our 1 year old and 4 year old opened these for Christmas and absolutely love them. They’ve used them so creatively... They’ve built “cages” for their action figures and cars, and giant structures. I high,y recommend this brand. The “other” brand may cost more, but these are compatible if you have those, and they’re less costly. The guide sheet included details how to build a stable structure properly if you’re new to magnetic tile building. The best part of these? Guaranteed not to crack or chip even if thrown or stepped on. If something goes wrong, take a pic and the company will replace the broken piece. We haven’t had one break yet, but anyone that believes in their product that much gets my vote.

3 years and going strong
We got these 3 years ago this Christmas, and they've been going strong ever since. They get nearly daily use from my two boys. And my older girls play with them too. The magnets could be a little stronger, but I almost like that they're a little weak because my boys have had to build a finesse and a gentleness is to get them to build the shapes they want to. And they've built some impressive shapes. We've thoroughly enjoyed them.

Awesome Building Set
We got our first set of magnet building blocks for Christmas in 2015. My twins were 3 years old, and our family fell in love with them. Since then, we have added two more sets, both Magnetic Stick N Stack brand. These are an amazing toy! I cannot say enough good things about these blocks. My kids play with them every single day, sometimes for hours at a time, building houses for their dolls, traps for their scooby doo adventures, trains cars for circus animals to ride in, and castles for themselves. They have built tall towers and long walls. I would highly recommend these to any child who is interested in building or in creative imaginative play. Also, these blocks are exactly the same quality as our Magnatiles set, but much more affordable - and both of these sets are compatible with each other!
