Awesome read for teens/tween/everyone
I wish I had been able to read a book like this in middle/high school. The characters and their storylines are all incredibly relatable. I read it all in one sitting because I needed to find out immediately how each situation would resolve! Great read - can’t wait to read it again with my daughter.

Incredible Modeling of Friendship, in all its Complexities!
LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE can be read as a stand-alone, but it is even better when paired with the first book, GO WITH THE FLOW. The books address the vital issue of menstrual fairness and advocacy, but what impressed me most was the incredible modeling of what friendships should be like. These books provide the guidance for navigating through a myriad of challenges, from misunderstandings and disappointment to anger. They are at the top of my gift list for teens and tweens!

A fantastic sequel to "Go With the Flow"!
Like its predecessor “Go With the Flow,” “Look on the Bright Side” is the exact kind of book I wish my younger self had while growing up.This perfect continuation of Abby, Christine, Brit, and Sasha’s stories is genuine and relatable in a way a lot of MG and YA stories fail to achieve. I lost count of how many times Christine’s dialogue seemed to be a version of something I said myself as a kid! Nothing is contrived, and many situations these characters find themselves in took me back to when I was their age. I couldn’t stop smiling (or sometimes tearing up or cringing) when certain things hit too close to home.Once again, Williams’ artwork is gorgeous, and a perfect complement to the story she and Schneemann weave. This duo has produced another instant classic that I can’t wait to recommend to every young - and young at heart - reader.

Heartwarming story of friendship and so much more
Another home run of a book. So many things to love about this book. The friendships the characters enjoy is so open and they show how girls can have open and loving relationships, even in high school. All 4 friends are perfect positive role models even while go through the pains of coming of age. The characters come to live in Lily Williams illustrations. They girls are funny and there are many LOL moments. Look on the Bright Side is a perfect sequel to Go With The Flow but stands alone if you haven't read it (yet).Great gift and a must read for young women of all ages, their parents and their siblings of all flavors.

A great sequel to Go With The Flow
Our daughter is growing up reading Lily Williams' books! She is so special, and offers an important and positive message to her readers. We are so excited that a sequel to Go With The Flow has come out, because we've read Go With the Flow so many times it's now time for a new book! Thank you Lily for putting your beautiful art and important message to girls out there.

An Incredible Friendship Story Every Teen/Tween Should Read
Look On the Bright Side is a beautiful sequel to Go With The Flow (though also a great stand-alone entry to Abby, Christine, Sasha, and Britt’s friendship even if you haven’t read book 1!). The friendship, love, and gentle accountability this friend group shows one another as they each navigate tough challenges of young adulthood are an example that I wish I had as a young teenager. The art is stunningly executed, and I absolutely loved the Pride & Prejudice storyline. A must-read for any teen or tween navigating middle/high school or anyone with young adults in their lives!

Beautiful and Emotional
"Look on the Bright Side" is a delightful sequel to "Go With the Flow." Williams and Schneemann brilliantly capture the highs and lows of high school, friendship, and young love. The story of Christine and Abby's evolving relationship is particularly touching and authentic. With its perfect blend of humor, emotion, and relatable characters, this graphic novel is a must-read. Highly recommended for fans of genuine storytelling and vibrant illustrations.
