This is my 2nd Premium Bible (the first was a beautiful NKJV Double-Column Thinline). I much prefer this one. It's the most beautiful NIV Bible I've ever seen. The single-column text is very clear and all the footnotes/cross-references are printed in the margins, right next to the Bible text. The Premium Goatskin Leather in blue is simply gorgeous. To me, this is "The One" - i.e. my all-purpose easy-carry Bible for daily reading. Thanks to Amazon for the speedy delivery and also to Zondervan for a really lovely Bible. 🤎🤩😍

Reading the bible is one of the most important things we can do as followers of Christ or even those seeking. I was looking for a ever day carry (EDC) bible instead of my older NIV personal study bible. I wanted something that had space to write in, feels good in my hand, lays flat and is long lasting. This bible feels good in my hands, it has plenty of space in the margins to write my thoughts in, it lays flat and I feel like its quality will hold up for many years. As I said earlier, I have a flux leather NIV personal study bible that has a lot of character to it from traveling and my kids spilling milk all over it… It’s very special to me as I have tons of notes in it, special passages and dates, but due to its condition I wanted to replace it. This new NIV reference bible is bigger then my Personal study bible, but not too big that you can’t use it as a EDC. I love the darker blue leather, the silver edge gilding, the blue lettering and the font feels good on my eyes. This is already becoming a special bible to me. That aside… The true value of this book is not how it’s made or how it looks, but how its treasured, studied, applied and cherished as Gods word! Isaiah 40:26 Lift your eyes to the sky…

Very nice Bible

This is one of my favorite premium bibles!

I wanted a new high quality Bible that would last for the rest of my lifetime and one I could bequeath. I shopped a long time reading many reviews about many published Bibles until finally choosing this Zondervan NIV side -column reference Bible. It was beautifully made with a blue goat leather cover, etc. I paid $100, a discounted about. Upon receiving the Bible and opening the special box which contained it, it was obvious by the sloppy inner packing paper and the torn seal that this was a Bible someone had returned, and not a brand new Bible. No one had even bothered to open the box to see the condition it was in. It was a beautiful leather cover, but much bigger and heavier than I had anticipated. But it was upon opening the first page, two blank pages is what's called "the front matter" that I saw why it had been returned; the pages were halfway glued together. I put it back in it's box and returned it immediately and with great disappointment. But after learning Zondervan Bibles are printed in Communist China, it was no wonder, and I have vowed not to buy anything from Zondervan as long as they are using China for printing or anything else. I'll shop for a Bible printed in a free Democratic country, and pay now if need be. I think it's just very very wrong, and even shameful. The only publishers that didn't print Bibles in China are: InterVarsity Press [IVP], St. Ignatius Press, St. Benedict Press, Cambridge University Press, R. L. Allan & Son, and Schuyler Bibles.

This is simply the best NIV premium bible. The Goatskin is perfect, and the bible itself is easy to carry. No too small and not too big, just right 👌

This Bible is absolutely gorgeous! It's supple, well made, and easy to use. The cover is very soft too!
