Marshall Uncle Jimâ€s Original Duk Soup Mix 4-1/2-Ounce Small Animal Dietary Supplement

This powdered food mix is the best way to build up your ferret after surgery, illness or just not eating. I mix with warm water to a paste as thick or thin as needed and every ferret I have had simply loves this. It's a perfect way to conceal medication as ferrets are usually very difficult to administer meds to, and this keeps for ages too in its dry state. Every ferret owner should have this on standby, it's just a pity that mainstream pet supply stores don't usually stock this mix. Don't bother with other supplementary foods, this is the only one you'll ever need.

Hasn't made my ferret go back on hard food cause she has a dental problem, all I can do is wait for her antibiotics to kick in. This has been a good source of food for her whilst she has been ill, she seems to enjoy it. The food is easy to prepair and you can adjust the texture to your ferrets taste. I just wish you could come up with a complete soft food for sick or elderly ferrets, it's not fair they don't have the options of dog's and cats.

Great stuff to help pick up my ferrets if they've been unwell. I sprinkle some over their raw minced meat and mix it in and most seem to like the taste.

My ferret couldnt have been less impressed with this. Tried it with some ferretone on top as he loves that stuff but he wouldnt go near it. I tried watering it down a lot and mixing in things like chicken but nope, major nope. I found a recipe online to make my own version and he went bonkers for that. Im glad I only bought one packet as a trial as I was tempted to buy a big batch to have it on hand. I would suggest that you trial it before you buy a lot because I assumed my ferret would love it as a lot of ferrets seem to.

One of my ferrets thought this was delicious. Only downside is that I ordered this to Sweden and I had to pay custom fees: 75 kr. Not really fun to pay and not informed on the site.

My ferrets absolutely love this product! I use it as an extra boost to their daily diets, it keeps them well hydrated and it's like a treat for them!
