This is the best supplement I have ever bought. Bought at £23 for 500 tabs - they were good value and are easy enough to take. No ill effects, I'll leave you to decide on efficacy from the research on GSE and health impacts. I find the products form this company to be well made and have also bought direct with no issues.

These taste different to some GSE I had before. These are less astringent and taste foul, like a bad tooth. The old batch of GSE was good stuff. I can't tell you if this working. It's different.

There are many claimed benefits for grape seed extract for which I read up on the clinical evidence. I bought this for two reasons firstly as an anti-oxidant there are claims that it is 20 times more effective than vitamin E and 50 times more effective than vitamin C. Both these vitamins can have a negative effect or interaction with other medicines/herbs/amino acids. Secondly, to help reduce my blood pressure for which a clinical trial has reported a significant decrease in systolic BP after 12 weeks. It works by improving nitric oxide levels in the body to relax the blood vessels for lowering BP and some recommend taking it with citrulline or citrulline malate. This is a much higher dose than that used in clinical trials and as with any medicine of any description, there are side effects. Too much nitric oxide is not a good thing and people should monitor their BP and gradually increase the dose to prevent a sudden drop. This is also an anticoagulant and can interact with blood-thinning medication. I take other supplements that are also blood thinner’s so I take 200 micrograms of vitamin K2 to compensate. There are conflicting claims that nitric oxide is good or bad for arthritis. I will try it and see how it goes.

This is a regular purchase for me and I am thrilled with the results. My digestive system has improved and the instances of Candida is significantly reduced and now under control.
